A category is determined to which a portion of a code selected for review by a reviewer belongs. A subset is selected from a set of checklist items. A checklist item in the subset is configured for reviewing a set of categories of code portions including the category of the portion. A context including a characteristic of the reviewer is determined of the review of the portion. A checklist item in a sub-subset of the subset of checklist items is usable in reviewing the code portions under a set of contexts. The context of the review of the portion corresponds to a context in the set of contexts. Using a checklist item from the sub-subset, a checklist is dynamically configured to be specific to the review of the portion, specific to the reviewer, and specific to the review.

Context sensitive verification point driven inspection

Techniques are described for version control with selectable file portion synchronization between an IDE and a repository, so that a version control system of this disclosure either synchronizes or ignores different portions of a file during synchronization, in accordance with user selections. In one example, a method includes evaluating content entered into a file. The method further includes detecting a starting delimiter and a stopping delimiter in the file. The method further includes copying a first portion of the file outside the starting delimiter and the stopping delimiter to a repository, and refraining from copying a second portion of the file inside the starting delimiter and the stopping delimiter to the repository.

An illustrative embodiment of a computer-implemented process for client selectable server-side data error resolutions receives a request from a client to perform an action on a server, identifies a data error during performance of the action of the request and generates a response including an error description and a resolution subset for the identified error. The computer-implemented process further sends a response to the client, receives a selected resolution returned from the client, and responsive to a determination the selected resolution associated with the token returned executes on the server, executes the selected resolution, associated with the token returned, on the server to correct the data error.
