A micro-valve for controlling fluid flows and a sealing device for sealing off cavities in a microfluid system, in particular in a lab-on-a-chip system, and also a method for the production thereof. A valve body or a sealing element bears with a sealing surface against a sealing surface of a substrate, the valve body or the sealing element is pressed with the sealing surface thereof in a fluid-tight manner against the sealing surface of the substrate by means of a pressure-exerting ring, and the pressure-exerting ring is cohesively connected to the substrate. The pressure-exerting ring and/or the valve body or the sealing element are at least partially elastic.

Micro-valve and sealing device for use in a microfluidic system, and method for the production thereof

A microvalve for controlling fluid flows, and a sealing device for sealing cavities in a microfluidic system, particularly in a lab-on-a-chip system, and a method for the production thereof. A sealing surface of a valve body, or a sealing element, respectively, rests on a sealing surface of a substrate and is pressed against the sealing surface of the substrate in a fluid-tight manner by means of a clamping element. The clamping element and/or the valve body, or the sealing element, respectively, are at least partially elastic.

Microvalve and sealing device for use in a microfluidics system, and method for the production thereof

The invention relates to a system comprising a rotary valve and an actuating device for the rotary valve. The invention further relates to a related flow system having a rotary valve. The flow system is in particular a micro-flow system. The system comprises at least two separate components, wherein the one component is a rotary valve comprising a hollow cylindrical mount (), a cylindrical valve body () located in the mount, and openings () for at least two channels at the bottom of the mount (). The other component comprises an actuating device () that is provided with pressing means, by means of which the valve body () can be pressed to the bottom of the mount ().
