Disclosed is an air cleaner having independent fluid paths and a home appliance having the air cleaner. The air cleaner includes a front panel having a plurality of air inlets formed thereon for air to flow in from outside of the case, first and second blower devices arranged inside the case to allow air to flow in through the plurality of air inlets, first and second filter units arranged to filter the air flowing in by the first and second blower devices, a first outlet located on the case to release the air, a second outlet formed at a different location from that of the first outlet, a first fluid path formed between one of the plurality of air inlets and the first outlet; and a second fluid path formed between another of the plurality of air inlets and the second outlet.

Provided is a filter module including a filter arranged on a flow path through which air passes, a first electrode arranged to face a first surface of the filter and a second electrode arranged to face a second surface of the filter opposite to the first surface, wherein a space is maintained in at least one of between the first surface and the first electrode or between the second surface and the second electrode through a spacer, so that the first electrode and the second electrode are prevented from being electrically connected to each other through foreign substances that are collected by the filter at a predetermined amount or more.

Disclosed herein is an air cleaner capable of being coupled or separated in a vertical direction to improve space utilization. An air cleaner may include a first air cleaning module provided with a first connection unit, and a second air cleaning module detachably coupled to the first air cleaning module and provided with a second connection unit, wherein the second connection unit is configured to be detachably coupled to the first connection unit, and configured to be rotatable with respect to the first connection unit when the second connection unit is coupled to the first connection unit.

An appliance for dehumidification, with a body having an inflow unit and an outflow unit; a heat-exchanging apparatus to condense vapor in the air; a fan to forcedly move the air; a tray to collect condensation water descending from a cooling apparatus; a water container detachably provided at an upper portion of the body to store the condensation water; a pump to pump the condensation water from the tray to the water container; and a drain pipe to guide the condensation water from the pump to the water container. The water container may be easily separated from the appliance to empty the water container when the water container is full, and then the water container may be easily mounted again.

A heat exchanger usable with a ventilator, the heat exchanger having an improved structure so that air passing through the heat exchanger may be prevented from leaking. The heat exchanger of the general inventive concept includes a heat-exchanging element having a plurality of liners stacked in a uniformly spaced state and a plurality of spacers disposed between the liners to define air passages, and corner guides respectively coupled to corners of the heat-exchanging element. Each of the corner guides includes a guide channel forming a space to receive the corner of the heat-exchanging element so that the corner guides securely come into close contact with the heat-exchanging element, and to minimize a loosening of the corner guide due to an adhesive applied between the heat-exchanging element and the corner guide.

Heat exchanger and ventilator having the same

An air cleaner eliminates moisture laden in air, thus preventing the moisture from being added to a dust collecting filter and, for example, a deodorizing filter, therefore preventing performance of the dust collecting filter and the deodorizing filter from being deteriorated. The air cleaner includes a cabinet having an air inlet port and an air outlet port, a blowing unit provided in the cabinet to circulate air from the air inlet port to the air outlet port, and a filtering unit provided between the air inlet port and the air outlet port to filter the air drawn into the cabinet. The filtering unit includes a dehumidifying filter to adsorb moisture laden in the air, a dust collecting filter to collect dust laden in the air, and a deodorizing filter to remove an odor from the air. In this case, the dehumidifying filter is placed nearer to the air inlet port in comparison with both the dust collecting filter and the deodorizing filter.
