Provided is a display device including a display panel partitioned into a display region and a non-display region, and an input sensing unit including a sensing pad in a pad region overlapping the non-display region, a sensing electrode overlapping the display region, and a signal line electrically connecting the sensing pad and the sensing electrode, wherein the display panel has a spacer overlapping the non-display region, and defining an opening in which a first portion of the signal line is located, the first portion of the signal line having a greater width than a second portion adjacent thereto.

The mesh patterns include a plurality of openings formed therein and spaced apart from each other in a first direction and a second direction that crosses the first direction. The mesh patterns include a plurality of conductive patterns spaced apart from each other in a direction that cross the first and second directions, where a center opening of the plurality of openings is disposed therebetween, and a plurality of mesh lines disposed along an edge of the center opening and connected to the conductive patterns. Each of the conductive patterns includes at least one cut-away portion opened toward one of the openings.

An electronic device includes: an input sensor including a plurality of unit sensors each having a first unit sensor, a second unit sensor, and a third unit sensor adjacent, wherein each of the first, second, and third unit sensors includes: a first sensing electrode extending in the first direction; a second sensing electrode extending in the second direction; and a first dummy electrode between the first sensing electrode and the second sensing electrode, wherein the first sensing electrode of the first unit sensor is connected to a first adjacent dummy electrode of the first dummy electrodes of the third unit sensor adjacent to the first unit sensor, and wherein the second sensing electrode of the first unit sensor is connected to a first adjacent dummy electrode of the first dummy electrodes of the second unit sensor adjacent to the first unit sensor.

A display apparatus including a display panel, an input sensor having an active area having a plurality of electrodes disposed therein and at least a portion of which overlaps the display area, and a non-active area which overlaps the non-display area. The active area has a central area and a peripheral area disposed outward from the central area. The plurality of electrodes include center electrodes which are disposed in the central area and peripheral electrodes which are disposed in the peripheral area and have a surface area less than that of the center electrodes. Each of the center electrodes includes a sensing pattern and a floating pattern, and each of the peripheral electrodes includes substantially only the sensing pattern. Thus, an embodiment of the inventive concept may provide the display apparatus that includes an input sensor having improved sensitivity in a peripheral area.
