Included is an emulsion aggregation toner formulation having at least one latex and a combination of at least two waxes, wherein one wax is a synthetic wax, and another wax is a natural wax, and further including a developer containing a carrier and the just-described toner.

A toner for developing electrostatic images in a single component development (SCD) system free of carrier and including emulsion aggregation toner particles of a styrene acrylate polymer binder, at least one release agent and at least one colorant, wherein the toner particles have a volume average particle size of from about 5 &#x3bc;m to about 10 &#x3bc;m, an average circularity of about 0.95 to about 0.99, a volume and number geometric standard deviation (GSD) of from about 1.10 to about 1.30, and an onset glass transition temperature of from about 45&#xb0; C. to about 65&#xb0; C., is ideally suited for forming an image using a single component image forming device.

Single component developer of emulsion aggregation toner

A toner includes particles of a resin, a leveling agent, an optional colorant, and additional optional additives, where the leveling agent is selected from silicon containing leveling agents, and mixtures thereof, and where the toner particles are prepared by an emulsion aggregation process.
