A wearable device is provided. The wearable device includes a housing including a transparent part, a circuit board disposed in the housing and including a first surface facing the transparent part and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a first integrated circuit (IC) layer disposed adjacent to the circuit board, a first sensor module, at least a part of which is disposed in the first IC layer, a second sensor module disposed adjacent to the first sensor module, and a second IC layer electrically connected to the first IC layer and the circuit board, and including a processor configured to process data acquired by the first sensor module and the second sensor module, wherein the circuit board, the first IC layer, and the second IC layer are stacked and disposed in a direction perpendicular to the first surface or the second surface of the circuit board.

The electronic device includes a printed circuit board, a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit which are disposed on the printed circuit board, a cover member which has at least a partial region configured by a material having high optical transmittance, is disposed to face the printed circuit board, and includes a first region substantially facing the light emitting unit, and a second region substantially facing the light receiving unit, and a pattern disposed in at least one of the first region and the second region of the cover member. The pattern may be disposed by repeatedly arranging blocking units having low transmittance at a predetermined interval. In addition, various embodiments may be possible.

Various embodiments provide an electronic device and a method, the device comprising: a capacitive sensor, a heart rate sensor including at least one light-emitting unit, a first light receiving unit, and a second light receiving unit; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: measure capacitance for a user wearing the electronic device by using the capacitive sensor; emit light by using the light-emitting unit according to the capacitance; measure a first amount of light which is said light reflected by the user's body tissue through the first light receiving unit, and a second amount of light which is said light reflected by the body tissue through the second light receiving unit; determine that the electronic device is worn by the user when at least one amount of light of the first amount of light and the second amount of light satisfies an amount of light in a specified range; and determine that the electronic device is detached from the user when the first amount of light and the second amount of light do not satisfy the amount of light in the specified range. Also, other embodiments are possible.

Method for detecting wear using plurality of sensors and electronic device implementing same

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: at least one electrode having conductivity; a capacitance sensor, at least one switch electrically connected between the at least one electrode and the capacitance sensor, and capable of selectively connecting the at least one electrode and the capacitance sensor; and a control circuit, wherein the control circuit measures a first capacitance value by using the capacitance sensor in a state where the at least one switch is open, measures a second capacitance value corresponding to an external object contacting the at least one electrode, by using the capacitance sensor in a state where the at least one switch is connected, corrects the second capacitance value by using the first capacitance value, and determines the corrected second capacitance value as a capacitance value for the external object. Various other embodiments are possible.
