An apparatus for projecting a space image in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a display unit configured to display an image; and an array of prisms having a plurality of prisms connected with one another to have one lateral planes of the respective prisms form one plane and configured to refract light corresponding to the image through the prisms to a predetermined position at which a user can recognize the image.

An apparatus for projecting a space image in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a receiving unit configured to receive the space image; a display unit configured to display the space image and to emit light; a control unit configured to control the display unit to display the space image; and a projection unit configured to allow the light to permeate or reflect the light and to project the space image.

A three-dimensional image display method is disclosed. The three-dimensional image display method in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: displaying an object image; displaying a background image by using a three-dimensional image display method; and disposing the object image at a close distance and the background image at a far distance such that the object image and the background image overlap inside a same viewing angle. By using images having a different sense of depth, a high-resolution image can be displayed while providing a sense of reality.

3D image display method and system thereof

The present invention relates to a polarized stereoscopic display method and a device thereof. In one embodiment, the device comprises a first signal processing part for signal processing the first image and producing a first input image that is input to a first projector so that a first output beam output from the first projector corresponding to the first image is output from the first projector with a 90 degree phase difference with respect to a second output beam outputted from the second projector corresponding to the second image. The first signal processing part may comprise an image rotating part for rotating an inputted image by 90 degree, a resizing part combined with an output terminal of the image rotating part for resizing the image rotated by 90 degree corresponding to a screen and output it to the first projector.

Polarized stereoscopic display device and method

An apparatus and method for projecting a spatial image is disclosed. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes i) a monitor, which outputs the spatial image, ii) an image direction control unit, which controls the direction of the spatial image outputted from the monitor and controls a viewing angle, and iii) a half-mirror, which transflects the spatial image whose direction is adjusted by the image direction control unit. At least one embodiment of the present invention modifies the conventional barrier technology, which has been used to control 3D images or viewing angles, to enhance a sense of realism by adjusting the direction of light emitted from a display device.

Apparatus and method for projecting spatial image

An apparatus and method for watermarking that uses elemental images of an integrated image having three-dimensional information as a watermark are disclosed. The watermarking apparatus in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes i) a computational pickup unit, which picks up an elemental image watermark computationally by placing an object three-dimensionally, ii) an embedding process unit, which embeds into a two-dimensional image the elemental image watermark obtained by the computational pickup unit, iii) an extraction process unit, which extracts the elemental image watermark by receiving through a transmission channel the watermarked two-dimensional image embedded by the embedding process unit, and iv) a computational reconstruction unit, which computationally reconstructs the elemental image watermark extracted by the extraction process unit to a distance-based image.

Apparatus and method for watermarking using elemental images of integrated image having three-dimensional information

A three-dimensional image display device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device uses a curved transmissive screen and reflectors to minimize the space associated with the device when increasing the size of the three-dimensional image. By placing a physically driven background screen over the projected image and screen, excessively diffused reflection of the Fresnel lenses is eliminated. High-resolution real-time video images are provided as three-dimensional images by realizing three-dimensional images with enhanced perspective as if they are floating in space. According to one embodiment of the invention, a distortion of the three-dimensional image is minimized.
