A method and a server for determining a location of a targeted mobile set using Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) in a wireless communications network are provided. The method includes receiving a request message requesting location information of the targeted mobile set, from a SUPL agent; sending a location initiation message (SUPL INIT) to the targeted mobile set in response to the received request message from the SUPL agent; determining a positioning method for the location service of the targeted mobile set after receiving a location capability from the targeted mobile set; and performing each of a plurality of positioning procedures by using the determined positioning method until a timer related to the determined positioning method is due or the target mobile set obtains a new positioning method, wherein the plurality of the positioning procedures are performed when an event of the targeted mobile set occurs or when triggered periodically.

System and method for locating a mobile terminal using secure user plane location

Disclosed is a method for determining the location of a targeted mobile set using SUPL (Secure User Plane Location) in a wireless communications network, including sending a target set location initiation message to the targeted mobile set in response to a request message, causing a home positioning server to exchange the capacities of positioning methods with the targeted mobile set to select and store a suitable positioning method, and determining the location of the targeted mobile set by using the selected positioning method previously stored whenever the location is requested. Accordingly it is unnecessary for the targeted set to resend the target set location initiation message to the positioning server whenever repeating the location calculation for the repeated deferred service.

A method is provided for managing multimedia data in a mobile communication terminal. A PoC system, method, user equipment and server used for managing one or more media types supported in a PoC session opened between a PoC server and one or more PoC clients is provided. When at least one PoC client is engaged in a Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Push-to-talk (PPT) over Cellular (PoC) multimedia communication service and is to be withdraw from a PoC session in which the PoC client is participating, a PoC server identifies and stores information about one or more media types that were negotiated to be usable between the corresponding PoC client and the PoC server when the corresponding PoC client joined the PoC session. Next, when the number of PoC clients using the identified one or more media types among remaining PoC clients participating in the PoC session is one or less, the PoC server determines that the identified one or more media types is no longer needed for the corresponding PoC session, and corrects the PoC session so as to not use the identified one or more media types. Accordingly, when the one or more media types will not be received by any PoC client in the PoC session the use of the one or more media types in the PoC session is discontinued, so that it is possible to prevent a transmission error of the corresponding one or more media types and to save resources allocated to the corresponding one or more media types.

A location service-providing system and a method for providing a deferred location request service by using previously computed position estimates. In the system and the method, if an H-SLP transmits an SUPL INIT message including location information to a target SUPL Enabled Terminal (SET) according to a location service request from an SUPL AGENT, the location information including at least one of a previous position estimate and previous assistant data, the target SET receives the SUPL INIT message, determines whether it is possible to provide the location service by reusing at least one of the location information in the SUPL INIT message and previously stored location information, when it is possible, determining position information by reusing at least one of the location information in the SUPL INIT message and the previously stored location information, and providing the SUPL AGENT with the position information.

Location service-providing system and deferred location request service-providing method using previously computed location in location service-providing system

Edited information written or drawn by a user on a transparent layer, which is displayed over original text, is stored as a picture or translated into computer-processible recognition data. Each transparent layer has a layer identifier. The user can display multiple layers over the original text by selecting layer identifiers to reflect layer information in a picture form or in a computer code form.
