A method and system in which upon occurrence of a P-CSCF failure, a network sends an IMS reregistration request message to a UE. An S-CSCF or an AS monitors a P-CSCF to detect occurrence of a failure in the P-CSCF. Upon detecting the occurrence of a P-CSCF failure, the S-CSCF or the AS sends a request message for IMS reregistration to the UEs being served by the failed P-CSCF. In this manner, the UE can continuously receive the service even though a failure occurs in the P-CSCF.

IMS reregistration method and system therefor

An apparatus and method by which a user device in a home network system transmits home-device-related information is provided. The method includes acquiring, from at least one home device, a unique user identifier (UUID) for a related home device, a peer ID (peer ID) which is managed by a connectivity server for managing a connection between the user device and the related home device and that identifies the related home device, a peer group ID for identifying a group of home devices that have registered with a service server for managing device information on the related home device, and a device token containing key information for authenticating the connection to the related home device, selecting a specific user device which will share the UUID, peerID, peer group ID and device token from among neighboring devices, and transferring the UUID, peerID, peer group ID, and device token to the specific user device on the basis of a predetermined sharing method.

Apparatus and method by which user device in home network system transmits home-device-related information

Provide is a device and a method for registering the device supporting home networking, by a server. The method includes receiving a registration request for the device from a user and determining whether the device was registered by the user. If the device has been registered, a re-registration authentication code is obtained based on an initial authentication code of the device, and registration of the device is mapped to the re-registration authentication code.

Method and apparatus for multi-users registering home network supporting application based device

To solve the problems that may occur due to the leakage of user account information, the present disclosure may manage the security using the device token that is used independently of that of the server, that is generated by a home device, and that can be used for device authentication when a smart phone controls home appliances. A method and apparatus for performing a L3 handover between CNs in a packet-switched network are provided. When a UE moves from an old RAN to a new RAN, the UE sends a measurement report message including cell information to the old RAN. The old or new RAN determines whether to perform a L3 handover. If the L3 handover is required, a tunnel is established between the new RAN and a new CN. The UE performs a handover from the old RAN to the new RAN, without establishing a tunnel between the new RAN and an old CN. Upon detection of the movement of the UE, the new RAN sends a L2 handover complete message to the old RAN. After moving to the new RAN, the UE acquires a new IP address, performs the L3 handover, and communicates with the new CN through the new RAN.

Method and apparatus for performing handover between core network entities in a packet-switched network

A method and apparatus is provided for communication between a first terminal capable of using both a Circuit Switched (CS) call and an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) session, and a second terminal capable of using the IMS session, in a communication system supporting a Combined CS call and IMS session (CSI service). Handover apparatus and method in a heterogeneous wireless communication system

A method and apparatus for performing handover on a voice call between a packet network system and a circuit network system is provided. Considering a communication environment where a UE cannot simultaneously use radio resources of both the next generation mobile communication system (LTE) and the legacy mobile communication system (e.g., GSM/WCDMA), the present invention proposes an SCSE for performing signal translation between the packet switched network and the circuit switched network and anchoring a voice call in the application level, and supports a continuous voice call using the SCSE.
