There is provided a transceiving method of an audio signal using an UWB wireless communication scheme, including the steps of: extracting and analyzing the beacon frames to generate reserved transmission interval information previously reserved by the other UWB transmitters and/or adjacent wireless audio transmitters and information on audio source and channel; calculating an available transmission interval for each channel of audio sources by using the information on the audio source and channel of the other UWB transmitters; generating and transmitting a beacon frame based on the reserved transmission interval and the audio source and channel information; transmitting the audio signal at the reserved transmission interval by audio source and channel units; extracting and analyzing the beacon frame to generate audio source and channel information and reserved transmission interval information; and providing the audio source and channel information to the user.

Wireless audio transceiver system and method using UWB wireless communication

An apparatus of managing sensing information for a sensor based home network and a method thereof are disclosed. The apparatus includes a sensor network to collect sensing information from multifunctional sensor nodes, a sensing information processing and managing unit for deciding the optimized context information through controlling and managing the collected sensing information according to all of the context information and providing services suitable to user's intention and environment. Therefore, the apparatus prevents collision and minimizes the interference generated between sensing information.

Sensing information management apparatus and method of sensor based home network system

Provided is a high resolution distance ranging apparatus using an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication. The apparatus includes: a first spectrum analyzer for extracting a frequency component corresponding to multipath time delay from a reception signal; a second spectrum analyzer for acquiring a noise subspace of the extracted frequency component and extracting a frequency component where maximum power is located from a frequency spectrum based on the noise subspace; a time of arrival (TOA) extractor for extracting TOA based on the frequency component where maximum power is located.

High resolution ranging apparatus and method using UWB

A method for using a nibble(partial bits of word) inversion code in a network system includes the steps of: a) adding 1 redundancy bit to n bit source data and generating a pre-code, n being an even number of 2 or over; b) deciding the number of transitions in the generated pre-code; c) determining the pre-code as a code word if the number of transitions in the pre-code is greater than or equal to 1&plus;n/2 in a deciding result; d) inverting alternate bits including the redundancy bit among bits constructing the pre-code and generating the code word, if the number of transitions in the pre-code is less than n/2 in the deciding result; e) determining the pre-code as the code word in case that the number of transitions in the pre-code is equal to n/2 and simultaneously the source data is not an in-band signaling and not a special word in the deciding result; and f) inverting the nibble among the bits constructing the pre-code and generating the code word, in case that the number of transitions in the pre-code is equal to n/2 and simultaneously the source data is an in-band signaling or is a special word in the deciding result.
