An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes a substrate where OLEDs are formed and an encapsulation member fixed onto the substrate while covering the OLEDs. The encapsulation member includes a photochromic material so that the encapsulation member is colored by external light.

An organic electroluminescent (EL) display device having a plurality of pixel circuits formed at crossing points of a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines is provided. Each pixel circuit includes at least two driving transistors connected to a first power voltage line, the at least two driving transistors receiving a data signal through at least one of the data lines and outputting a driving current corresponding to the data signal; and an organic light emitting diode having at least two first electrodes respectively connected to the at least two driving transistors and emitting a light corresponding to the driving current. The organic light emitting diode has the at least two first electrodes and a common second electrode per pixel in order to prevent the whole pixel from not operating due to a short circuit occurring between one of the first electrodes and the second electrode.

Organic electroluminescent display device having plurality of driving transistors and plurality of anodes or cathodes per pixel

A display device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device includes: i) a display panel having a display area and a peripheral area, ii) a touch panel disposed corresponding to the display area on the display panel, iiii) a connecting portion extending from an edge of the touch panel to an edge of the display panel and iv) a window disposed on the touch panel, and including a window main body covering the display area and the peripheral area and a black matrix portion covering the peripheral area. The device may further include a resin layer disposed between the window and the touch panel and cured with light and a reinforcing tape attached to the peripheral area of the display panel and attached between the connecting portion and the display panel, and having a groove recessed corresponding to the connecting portion.

The organic light emitting display that includes a plurality of pixels arranged between first and second substrates, each of said pixels includes a plurality of thin film transistors, an organic light emitting diode, and a capacitor. The thin film transistors and the organic light emitting diode are formed on the first substrate and the capacitor is formed on the second substrate, and the thin film transistors and the capacitor are electrically connected with each other upon the first substrate being bonded to the second substrate.

An organic light emitting diode display device constructed with an organic light emitting element including a first electrode, an organic emission layer, and a second electrode sequentially laminated together, a transmittance control layer formed on the organic light emitting element, a selective reflective layer formed on the transmittance control layer, a polarizing plate formed on the selective reflective layer, and a phase retardation plate disposed between the organic light emitting element and the polarizing plate.

A flat panel display apparatus includes a panel including an image region on which an image is realized, a window covering the panel, a black matrix formed in the window along a side edge of the image region, and a resin layer that is ultraviolet (UV) curable and that bonds the panel and the window. The black matrix includes a black ink part for blocking UV rays, and a diffusion ink part for transmitting UV rays. In the flat panel display apparatus, the resin layer for window bonding is sufficiently cured in all regions, including a region thereof under the black matrix, so that a bonding defect in the window due to insufficient curing of the resin layer is significantly decreased.

An organic light emitting display less damaged by shock and a method of manufacturing the same. The organic light emitting display includes a first substrate in which a pixel unit is formed so that the pixel unit is divided into an emission unit and a non-emission unit formed around the emission unit, a second substrate positioned to face the first substrate, and a sealing material formed on the non-emission unit of the first substrate to seal up the first substrate and the second substrate. Grooves are formed in at least one substrate of the first substrate and the second substrate between the sealing material and the emission unit.

An organic light-emitting display device and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The organic light-emitting display device includes: a lower substrate including a display area and a non-display area, the lower substrate further including a power supply wiring unit disposed in the non-display area, the power supply wiring unit including at least one power supply wiring extending along an edge of the display area; an encapsulation substrate having an outer surface and an inner surface facing the lower substrate; a cavity formed into the inner surface of the encapsulation substrate in a region over the power supply wiring unit such that the cavity overlaps at least part of the power supply wiring when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the outer surface of the encapsulation substrate; and a polarizing plate disposed on the outer surface of the encapsulation substrate.

Organic light-emitting display device and method of manufacturing the same

Embodiments provide an organic light emitting diode display. The display includes a substrate, a pixel electrode formed on the substrate, and an organic emissive layer formed on the pixel electrode. A common electrode is formed on the organic emissive layer. In addition, a crystallized light scattering layer is formed on the common electrode. The crystallized light scattering layer may be a crystallized organic or crystallized inorganic layer having a rough surface in order to effectively scatter light and prevent phenomenon, such as Newton's Rings from occurring in the display.
