A light emitting device may include: a substrate including a plurality of unit light emitting regions; at least one first light emitting element having a first end portion and a second end portion in a first direction; at least one second light emitting element having a first end portion and a second end portion in a second direction intersecting the first direction; a first electrode connected to any one of the first and second end portions of each of the first and second light emitting elements and a second electrode connected to the other of the first and second end portions of each of the first and second light emitting elements; a first alignment line extending along the second direction on the substrate, the first alignment line being connected to the first electrode; and a second alignment line connected to the second electrode.

Light emitting device and display device having same

A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area; and at least one pixel provided in the display area, and including a pixel circuit layer. The display element layer includes at least one transistor, and a display element layer including at least one light emitting element emitting light, and a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from each other, disposed on the substrate, and each extending in a first direction, and the at least one light emitting element is electrically connected to each of the first and the second electrodes. The first electrode has at least two widths in an extension direction of the first electrode. The second electrode has at least two widths in an extension direction of the second electrode.

A display device according to an embodiment includes a pixel and a bank. The pixel includes sub-pixels and an emission area including sub-emission areas corresponding to the sub-pixels. The bank surrounds the emission area. The pixel includes electrodes disposed in each of the sub-emission areas, at least one light emitting element disposed in each of the sub-emission areas, and bank patterns disposed under the electrodes, the bank patterns overlapping a portion of the electrodes. The bank patterns include a first bank pattern including a first valley, the first bank pattern being disposed in a first edge area of the emission area in a first direction. The bank patterns include a second bank pattern including a second valley, the second bank pattern being disposed in a second edge area of the emission area in the first direction.

Pixel and display device including the same

A display device may include pixels disposed on a substrate. Each of the pixels may include a first electrode, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode and enclosing a perimeter of the first electrode, light emitting elements disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and each including a first end and a second end, a third electrode overlapping the first electrode and the first end of each of the light emitting elements in a plan view, and electrically contacting the first electrode and the first end of each of the light emitting elements, and a fourth electrode overlapping the second electrode and the second end of each of the light emitting elements in a plan view, and electrically contacting the second electrode and the second end of each of the light emitting elements. The light emitting elements may be radially disposed around the first electrode.

A display device includes a base layer including a pixel area, and a pixel in the pixel area. The pixel includes a first area, and a second area enclosing the first area in a plan view, bank patterns at the pixel area, extending in a first direction, spaced from each other by a first distance in the first area, and spaced from each other by a third distance that is greater than the first distance in the second area, a first electrode and a second electrode at an area of the bank patterns, and spaced from each other by a second distance that is less than the first distance in the first area, a first insulating layer at a portion of the pixel area including the first area to cover the first electrode and the second electrode and removed from another portion of the pixel area including opposite edge portions.

A display deice includes a pair of first color sub-pixels arranged in a display area in a first direction, each of the pair of first color sub-pixels including at least one first color light emitting element, and a bank enclosing the pair of first color sub-pixels. The bank includes at least two areas having different widths in an area corresponding to each of the pair of first color sub-pixels.

A display device may include: a base layer including a plurality of islands, at least one first bridge configured to connect the islands in a first direction, and at least one second bridge configured to connect the islands in a second direction; and at least one pixel including a plurality of sub-pixels in the base layer. Each of the sub-pixels may include: a first electrode and a second electrode in one island of the islands and spaced from each other; a third electrode and a fourth electrode in one bridge of the at least one first bridge and the at least one second bridge and spaced from each other; at least one first light emitting element between the first electrode and the second electrode; and at least one second light emitting element between the third electrode and the fourth electrode.

A display device includes a substrate and a pixel on the substrate.
