Display device and manufacturing method thereof

An organic light emitting diode display is provided including a first display panel. The first display panel includes a first substrate and a transistor disposed on the first substrate. The transistor includes an input electrode and an output electrode. A second display panel is provided including a second substrate, a first electrode disposed on the second substrate, an emission layer disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode disposed on the emission layer. A first connector is disposed on the output electrode and between the first display panel and the second display panel. The second display panel further includes a first opening formed in the second substrate and a pixel electrode connector disposed in the first opening. The output electrode of the transistor is electrically connected to the first electrode through the first connector, and the first electrode and the first connector are electrically connected through the pixel electrode connector.

Organic light emitting diode display and a manufacturing method thereof

A display device includes: a substrate on which is disposed: an organic light emitting element which generates and emits light with which an image is displayed; a thin film transistor connected to the organic light emitting element and with which the organic light emitting element is controlled to emit the light; an interlayer insulating layer disposed between the thin film transistor and the organic light emitting element, the interlayer insulating layer including an organic material; and a capping layer disposed between the interlayer insulating layer and the organic light emitting element, the capping layer including an inorganic material. The interlayer insulating layer disposed between the thin film transistor and the organic light emitting element does not have photosensitivity and does not include sulfur.

A display device includes a first pixel region (FPR), a second pixel region (SPR), a color conversion pattern (CCP), a first overcoat layer (FOL), a barrier layer (BL), a second overcoat layer (SOL), a liquid crystal layer (LCL), and a switching element (SE). The FPR is configured to display a first color (FC). The SPR is adjacent the FPR, and is configured to display a second color (SC) of a shorter peak wavelength than the FC. The CCP is disposed in the FPR, and is configured to: convert a color of incident light into the FC; and output converted light of the FC. The FOL is disposed on the CCP. The BL is of an inorganic material, and is disposed on the FOL. The SOL is of an organic material, and is disposed on the BL. The LCL is disposed on the SOL. The SE is disposed on the LCL.

An exemplary embodiment of the present inventive concept provides a display device including: a substrate; a semiconductor layer; a first inorganic insulating film disposed on the semiconductor layer and including a first opening; a first conductive film disposed on the first inorganic insulating film; a second inorganic insulating film disposed on the first inorganic insulating film to fill a concave portion on the first conductive film; a second conductive film disposed on the second inorganic insulating film; a third inorganic insulating film disposed on the second conductive film and including a second opening; and a third conductive film disposed on the third inorganic insulating film, and connected to the second conductive film, wherein the first opening and the second opening may overlap each other.
