A system, method, and apparatus are provided for establishing a wireless network connection between a mobile terminal and an electronic apparatus by using a near field communication network. At least one electronic apparatus is connected to the near field communication network. A mobile terminal is connected to the near field communication network, exchanges information with the at least one electronic apparatus for a wireless communication network connection through the connected near field communication network, and establishes the wireless communication network connection with the at least one electronic apparatus based on the exchanged information.

Short range wireless communication is provided. A first node included in a Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) communicates with at least one neighboring second node. The first node transmits or receives data to or from at least one device node connected to the first node during a time division communication period, using a super-frame in which the time division communication period, a time division schedule advertisement message transmission period, and a Contention Access Period (CAP) are sequentially arranged. The first node broadcasts a time division schedule advertisement message of the first node to the at least one second node during the time division schedule advertisement message transmission period within the super-frame. Upon receiving a time division schedule advertisement message from the second node during the CAP within the super-frame, the first node adjusts a data transmission or reception time for the at least one device node connected to the first node using the received time division schedule advertisement message.

A method for reducing power consumption in a wireless sensor network is provided. An optimized path destined for a sink node is set using a common channel in which first and second nodes use a CSMA scheme. A first channel is set and transmission/reception slots for packet transmission/reception are allocated in the first channel. A packet is transmitted to the second node through a first transmission slot using a TDMA scheme. When a packet is not received from the second node through a first reception slot within a first set amount of time, the first reception slot is allowed to transition to an inactive state. The first node is one of the sink node, at least one parent node, and at least one child node of the parent node, and the second node is one of child nodes of the first node.

A method for generating a superframe structure by using a beacon scheduling within a wireless sensor network and transmitting data based on the generated superframe structure includes: defining, by each of a plurality of data transceivers in the network, a relation with data transceivers located in their vicinity; assigning a data transceiver for beacon transmission/reception to each slot of a superframe in consideration of the defined relation; generating a superframe structure including a Beacon Only Period (BOP) and a data frame transmission period, in consideration of assigned slots; and broadcasting beacons and data frames in consideration of the superframe structure.
