A prime mover assembly comprising a prime mover and a control therefor, said control having a lever movable in a first plane to vary the rotational speed of said prime mover and movable in a second plane to stop said prime mover.

Control devices

In a crawler vehicle having a rear housing or frame: a pair of hydrostatic transmission pumps located on the center line of the crawler are connected to a pair of motors arranged along the transverse axis by a manifold to form a cruciform unit. The cruciform unit is mounted in the rear housing.

Hydrostatic transmissions

In a crawler having a rear housing or frame a pair of hydrostatic transmission pumps are mounted back-to-back and interconnected by a manifold which acts as a mounting for the pumps on to the rear housing. One pump is located within the rear housing and the other pump is outside.

In a crawler vehicle having a rear housing or frame a splitter gearbox and double hydraulic pump for a hydrostatic transmission are mounted on the front flange of the rear housing for ease of servicing and plumbing. A single driveshaft from the engine drives the gearbox and an extra pump may be mounted on the splitter gearbox. The single driveshaft may constitute a power-take-off drive.
