A cable includes a core with a plurality of first wires made of carbon steel and a plurality of strands surrounding the core. Each strand includes a plurality of second wires made of stainless steel. The cable has a maximum cross-sectional dimension less than 2 millimeters.

Corrosion resistant cable

A latching system includes a first lever connected to a first cable having a first cable end, a second lever connected to a second cable having a second cable end, a latch connected to a third cable having a third cable end, and a cable splitter assembly. The cable splitter assembly has a housing with a first end and a second end and a body with an interior surface defining an interior chamber. A carriage is configured to translate within the interior chamber. The carriage includes a carriage body with a plurality of cavities arranged to seat the respective first, second, and third cable ends and a plurality of resilient arms integrally formed as one piece with the carriage body.

Noise reducing cable splitter

A cable tension adjuster for adjusting tension between two cable sections includes a junction box. A slider is disposable within the junction box and includes a first slider wall, a cable coupling port opposite the first slider wall configured for coupling a first inner cable of a first cable section, and a second slider wall adjacent the cable coupling port. The first and second slider walls together partially define an internal cavity therebetween. A spool is disposable within the internal cavity and is couplable to a second inner cable of a second cable section. The spool includes a plurality of spool teeth. A biasing member is disposable within the internal cavity between the first slider wall and the spool. A locking clip is disposable within an aperture formed in the slider and includes a plurality of clip teeth configured for engagement with the plurality of spool teeth.

Cable tension adjuster

An adjustable vehicle seat includes a seat track, a seat base, a backrest, and a remote damping system. The remote damping system includes a housing and a damping element disposed within the housing. A traction cable has a sheath with a first end and a second end, and a wire with a first end and a second end. The first end of the sheath is fixed with respect to the housing and the first end of the cable is coupled to the damping element.

Remote damping system

A clip and cable assembly are configured for attachment to a panel of a vehicle. The cable assembly includes an elongated member. The elongated member includes a radially extending locating feature having a width. The clip includes a housing and a fastener. The housing includes a first section and a second section spaced a distance from the first section and a pocket is defined between the first and second sections. The first and second sections each define a channel that is sized to slidably receive the elongated member of the cable assembly. The pocket receives the locating feature when the elongated member is received in the channel such that movement of clip relative to the elongated member and the locating feature is limited to a length of movement defined as a difference of the distance between the first and second sections and the width of the locating feature.

Position controlled cable guide clip

A push button actuator including a plunger movable between return and actuating positions, a conduit with an axial bore therethrough and a core slideably disposed within the bore. The first end of the conduit is operatively connected to the plunger and moves substantially with the plunger. The second end of the conduit and the first end of the core are fixed with respect to the movement of the plunger between its return and activating positions. Movement of the plunger from its return position to its actuating position pushes the first end of the conduit away from the first end of the core, causing the second end of the core to be drawn towards the second end of the conduit. The movement of the second end of the core may be used to activate a reaction mechanism operatively connected to the second end of the core.

Push button cable actuator

A push button actuator including a plunger movable between return and actuating positions, a flexible conduit with an axial bore therethrough and a flexible core slideably disposed within the bore. The first end of the conduit is operatively connected to the plunger and moves substantially with the plunger. The second end of the conduit and the first end of the core are fixed with respect to the movement of the plunger between its return and activating positions. Movement of the plunger from its return position to its actuating position pushes the first end of the conduit away from the first end of the core, flexing the conduit and causing the second end of the core to be drawn towards the second end of the conduit. The movement of the second end of the core may be used to activate a reaction mechanism operatively connected to the second end of the core.
