A portable tool stand assembly includes a pair of wheels that are mounted on an axle that is received in a bracket plate. The bracket plate defines a J-shaped slot that has a mobility position in which the wheels are lowered relative to the tool stand assembly to permit the tool stand assembly to be wheeled into position. The wheels may be shifted to a work position in which the wheels are raised relative to the tool stand assembly with feet provided on legs engaging the ground and supporting the tool stand assembly.

A gutter cap forming tool is provided for use in a method of forming a gutter cap from a sheet stock blank. A roll forming operation is performed to form a reversely-turned arcuate bend in the gutter cap. The gutter cap assembly includes a gutter cap and a bracket that secures the gutter cap to a building and a gutter.

A gutter cap forming tool is provided for use in a method of forming a gutter cap from a sheet stock blank. A flange of the gutter cap is initially formed by a bending brake or a flange bender. A roll forming operation is performed to form a reversely-turned arcuate bend in the gutter cap. The gutter cap is installed with either an extruded bracket or a molded bracket that secures the gutter cap to a building and a gutter.

A stand for sheet metal tools is provided that may accommodate different types and sizes of sheet metal tools. The stand is intended to be used with portable sheet metal bending brakes, saw tables, coil slitters and coil holders. The stand has a versatile clamping system utilizing detachable anchor plates that may be secured in different locations and positions on the stand. A longitudinal extension may be incorporated as part of the stand or part of the support structure for sheet metal tools and a rear mounted roller table may also be provided in conjunction with the stand.

Sheet metal tool stand

A scoring tool supported by a carriage that is moved along a track on a sheet stock bending brake. A knife blade is pressed into engagement with sheet stock as the carriage is moved on a track. The knife blade is pivotally retained in a retainer housing that is secured to the carriage. Force is applied to the knife either by adjustable screws or directly by a handle connected to the knife holder.

Trim stock scoring tool

A work table having longitudinal and transverse cutter guide rails and a removable cutter. The cutter cooperates with linear knives on a longitudinal edge and on a lateral edge of the work table for making longitudinal and transverse cuts to form blanks from sheet stock. A roller knife on the cutter cooperates with linear knives on transverse and lateral edges of the work table to cut coil stock. The longitudinal cutter guide rail is provided with cam clamps that flex the beam to securely clamp sheet stock between the upper beam and the table top when longitudinal cuts are made. Grid lines and template instructions may be provided to assist workers in measuring and laying out blanks of sheet stock. Sheet stock may be supplied from a coil that is retained in a coil holder either on the work table or adjacent to the work table on a separate stand.

Work table

A folding detachable stand for a portable tool that is used on a job site. The stand has front and rear legs connected in a scissor relationship on right and left sides. Rear braces extend from an intermediate portion of the rear legs to a central portion of a platform or a central portion of a portable bending brake. Quick connect pins and brackets are used to assemble elements of the stand together.

A forming tool for creating a profile in a workpiece held within a bending brake is provided. The forming tool includes a body, and a carriage attached to the body and operable to move longitudinally along a guide provided on the bending brake. A pair of opposed forming dies is rotatably and removably mounted on the body, wherein the forming dies are operable to create a profile, such as for brick mold or a fascia rib, in the workpiece as the workpiece passes between the forming dies. The forming dies are interchangeable with another pair of forming dies for creating a different profile in the workpiece. The forming tool of the present invention is intended for use with any type of bending brake.

Portable bending brake stand

A multifunction machine for modifying a workpiece held in a bending brake is provided that allows one tool to be easily interchanged with another tool. The machine includes a carriage operable to move longitudinally along the bending brake, and a tool detachably connected to the carriage and operable to modify the workpiece. The tool can be detached from the carriage and interchanged with another tool for performing a different modification to the workpiece. In a preferred embodiment, either the tool or the carriage includes a projection extending therefrom, and the other includes an opening sized to receive the projection in order to connect the tool and the carriage. The tool preferably includes rotatably mounted rolls that may be used for cutting or forming the workpiece. The multifunction machine is intended to be used in conjunction with any type of bending brake.
