A health check manager may detect a trigger for a capacitor health check for a memory sub-system. The health check manager may determine a number of write commands in a set of one or more pending commands for a memory die of the memory sub-system and set a start time for the capacitor health check based on the number of write commands in the set of one or more pending commands. In some cases, the health check manager may perform the capacitor health check in accordance with the start time.

Methods, systems, and devices for a capacitor health check are described. A health check manager may detect a trigger for a capacitor health check for a memory sub-system. The health check manager may determine a number of write commands in a set of one or more pending commands for a memory die of the memory sub-system and set a start time for the capacitor health check based on the number of write commands in the set of one or more pending commands. In some cases, the health check manager may perform the capacitor health check in accordance with the start time.

A clamping circuit includes an energy storage section and a pulse generator to generate a pulse in which the energy storage section stores energy from a main power supply.

Electronic circuits and methods are provided for power conservation applications. A latching relay includes a controlled switch electrically coupled within a power supply of a computer or other load. Circuitry of the present teachings controls operation of the latching relay. Set and reset conditions of the latching relay establish normal and deep standby operating modes for the computer, respectively. Manual switching or automated signaling are used to assert the set and reset relay conditions. Very low power consumption is achieved during the deep standby mode of operation.

At least some of the illustrative embodiments are methods including providing operational power to a processor at a voltage indicated by the processor of a computer system, measuring electrical current actually drawn by the processor, and reporting to the processor a value of electrical current drawn by the processor. The value of electrical current reported different than the electrical current actually drawn by more than a measurement error of measuring the electrical current actually drawn.

Method and system of reporting electrical current to a processor

Electronic circuitry and methods are provided. Electrical energy is coupled to a transformer by way of line filter of a power supply. A clipper circuit limits the alternating-current voltage applied to the primary side. A voltage tripler receives output from the secondary side of the transformer and a resulting voltage is coupled to a voltage regulator. At least one regulated direct-current voltage is output to a load and is maintained while a current pulse is applied to a predetermined device. The electronic circuitry conforms to pending power conservation requirements for computers and other equipment.
