The present invention relates to a process for detaching a component from an electronic assembly. In particular, the present invention relates to a process for detaching a component bonded with a liquid optically clear adhesive (LOCA) in a display module by using electromagnetic radiation (EMR).

The subject matter of the present application is a curable adhesive composition having PTC characteristics after curing, containing (i) a reactive binder system, based on an epoxy-resin-component and a curing agent-component, (ii) particles of a carbon modification in a range of 0.01 wt % to 15.0 wt %, based on the total weight of the curable adhesive composition, and (iii) copper powder in a range of 0.5 wt % to 5.0 wt %, based on the total weight of the curable adhesive composition, wherein the reactive binder system comprises&#x3e;70 wt % of all organic polymers of the adhesive composition.

The invention relates to a method for connecting a first tube to a second tube, the tubes being interconnected in an overlapping region by means of an adhesive that fills a gap in the overlapping region between the tubes. Said method is characterized in that: a) adhesive is applied to the overlapping region of at least one of the tubes and the adhesive is selected in such a way that it is solid at temperatures of below 30&#xb0; C. after application to the overlapping region and prior to the connection of the tubes, and cannot be cured without thermal activation; b) the tube having the adhesive in the overlapping region is pushed onto or inside the other tube; c) the tubes are fixed in relation to one another in the overlapping region by a heatable clamp, said clamp being designed in such a way that it can heat the tubes in said region; d) the adhesive is thermally activated by heating the overlapping region with the aid of the heatable clamp, whereby the adhesive cures and connects the two tubes in the overlapping region; and e) the heatable clamp is removed once the adhesive has cured. The invention also relates to a method for producing a refrigerator and to a refrigerator comprising correspondingly joined tube sections.

Connection of tubes using thermally curable adhesives

A thermally curable adhesive in strip or film form, having a thickness in the range of 0.1 to 5 mm, containing: a) at least one reactive epoxy prepolymer, b) at least one latent hardener for epoxies, and c) one or more elastomers that are selected from: c1) thermoplastic polyurethanes, c2) thermoplastic isocyanates, and c3) block copolymers having thermoplastic polymer blocks. Further components can additionally be contained, for example a blowing agent for foaming. The adhesive in the uncured state at 22&#xb0; C. is bendable or wrappable and can be extended at least 100% before tearing. It can be laid onto a foil. It can be used, for example, for adhesive bonding of planar, tubular, or cylindrical components, preferably components made of metal, wood, ceramic, or ferrites.

Adhesive film or adhesive tape based on epoxides

The invention relates to a method for adhesively bonding a magnet onto the surface or into a slot of a rotor or stator of an electric motor or a generator, wherein i) the surface or surfaces to be glued of the magnet, rotor or stator are pre-coated with an adhesive that is not liquid at 22&#xb0; C. and that does not cure without an activation step, iii) the magnet is brought into contact with the rotor or stator at the adhesive location, and iv) the adhesive is activated by heating or by high-energy radiation so that it cures, characterized in that the adhesive comprises a) at least one reactive epoxide prepolymer, b) at least one latent hardener for epoxies, and c) one or more elastomers. The adhesive preferably comprises a blowing agent. The invention further relates to a corresponding pre-coated magnet.
