An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus has a function capable of performing a cursor display suitable to a feeling of handling. A cursor is permitted to move to not only a position in the noticed area on a two-dimensional image, but also to another position. When the cursor moves to the another position, an available area closest to the position of the cursor shifted is selected as the noticed area.

Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for cursor control

There is provided an ultrasonic diagnostic system in which an ultrasonic probe is detachably connected thereto, and ultrasonic waves are transmitted from the ultrasonic probe into the subject to obtain received signals through receiving the ultrasonic waves reflected within the subject, thereby displaying for a diagnosis an image carrying information based on the received signals, and is also provided an ultrasonic module including a processing circuit for the received signals, the ultrasonic module being used in the ultrasonic diagnostic system. The diagnotics system and the diagnostic module according to the present invention permit the more extensive patients to have an ultrasonic diagnosis, and also permit the operator to have a higher level of computer support. The ultrasonic module is connected through a general-purpose interface to a computer system. An ultrasonic module, which has, as a main element, an analog unit for performing an analog signal processing, is connected to another computer system.

Ultrasonic module and ultrasonic diagnostic system

An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus having both functions of a color flow imaging function of displaying with color a blood flow distribution within the subject on a tomographic image of the subject and a pulse Doppler function of evaluating and displaying with great accuracy a blood flow velocity of a point to be observed which is designated within a tomographic plane. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus implements the pulse Doppler function through few operations as compared with the conventional one. A direction of the blood flow is evaluated on the basis of a blood flow distribution of the peripheral pixels of the point of interest to be observed, determined through the color flow imaging function.

Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus

There is provided an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in which ultrasonic waves are transmitted into the subject to obtain received signals through receiving the ultrasonic waves reflected within the subject, thereby displaying an image based on the received signals. In the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, a plurality of images, for instance, a normal diagnostic image case and abnormal diagnostic image cases are stored beforehand in the image memory corresponding to kinds of body mark and positions of probe mark, and images are displayed in accordance with the designated kind of body mark and position of probe mark. This feature permits even an operator not skilled in the operation to perform accurately and readily estimation of the tomographic image displayed on the display screen through operation by himself.

There is provided an ultrasonic diagnostic system capable of contributing to simplification in operation throughout the color flow imaging. The ultrasonic diagnostic system is provided with a focus-follow means for providing such a control that a movement of a domain of interest involves a movement of at least focus involved in the transmitting side between the focus involved in the transmitting side and the focus involved in the receiving side.
