According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a base body, a support portion fixed to the base body, and a first member supported by the support portion. A gap is provided between the base body and a part of the first member. The first member includes a supported region, a first movable region, a first structure, a first support structure, a first connection structure, a first connect portion, and a first beam. The support portion is located between the base body and the supported region in a first direction from the base body to the support portion. The first beam extends along a second direction crossing the first direction. A first beam position of the first beam is located between a first movable region position of the first movable region and a support portion position of the support portion in the second direction.

Sensor and electronic device

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a stage, a driver, and a detector. The stage includes a first portion and a second portion. The driver is configured to rotate the stage. A rotation axis of the stage passes through the first portion and is along a first direction. A second direction from the first portion to the second portion crosses the first direction. The second portion is configured to rotate along a circumferential direction with the rotation axis as a center when the stage rotating. The detector is provided at the second portion. The detector includes a first detection element configured to detect a first acceleration including a component along the second direction, and a second detection element configured to detect a second acceleration including a component along the first direction.

Sensor and movable body

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a sensor element, a housing provided around the sensor element, and a processor. The sensor element includes a base body including first and second base body regions, and first and second sensor parts. The first sensor part is provided in the first base body region, and includes a first sensor movable part. The second sensor part is provided in the second base body region and includes first and second beams. The processor can derive a rotation angle and an angular velocity based on a signal obtained from the first sensor movable part. The processor can detect acceleration and a temperature based on a first resonance frequency of the first beam and a second resonance frequency of the second beam. The processor can correct one of the rotation angle or the angular velocity based on one of the temperature or the acceleration.

According to one embodiment, a sensor a sensor includes a base, a first support portion fixed to the base, and a first movable portion supported by the first support portion. The first movable portion includes first and second movable base portions, a connecting base portion, first and second movable beams, and first and second movable conductive portions. The first movable beam includes a first beam end portion, a first beam other end portion, and a first beam intermediate portion. The second movable beam includes a second beam end portion, a second beam other end portion, and a second beam intermediate portion. The first movable conductive portion includes a first crossing conductive portion, a first extending conductive portion, and a first other extending conductive portion. According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a first detection element. In a second direction crossing a first direction from the base body toward the first movable member, the third movable part is between the first and second movable parts. According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a base body including a first surface including first and second base body regions, a first structure body provided in the first base body region, a second structure body provided in the second base body region, and a control device. The first structure body includes a first movable member configured to vibrate. The vibration of the first movable member includes first and second components. The second structure body includes a second movable member configured to vibrate. The control device includes a controller configured to perform a processing operation. The processing operation includes outputting a second rotation angle, The second rotation angle is obtained by correcting a first rotation angle based on a resonance frequency of the second movable member. The first rotation angle of the first movable member is obtained based on the first component and the second component.

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a sensor part including first and second sensor elements, and a circuit part. The first sensor element includes a first supporter, a first movable part capable of vibrating, first and second electrodes. The first electrode outputs a first signal corresponding to a vibration of the first movable part. The second electrode outputs a second signal corresponding to the vibration of the first movable part. The second sensor element includes a second supporter, a second movable part capable of vibrating, third and fourth electrodes. The third electrode outputs a third signal corresponding to a vibration of the second movable part. The fourth electrode outputs a fourth signal corresponding to the vibration of the second movable part. The circuit part includes a calculator. The calculator outputs a differential operation result between first and second processing signals.

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a sensor part. The sensor part includes a supporter and a movable part. The movable part includes a movable member located around the supporter in a first plane, and a plurality of structure members located between the supporter and the movable member. The structure members have bent shapes. The structure members connect the movable member with the supporter. The movable member is capable of vibrating. The movable part has the supporter as a center of rotational symmetry. The movable part has a plurality of mirror planes. The mirror planes pass through the center of the rotational symmetry and cross the first plane.

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a first detection element, and a processing part. The first detection element includes a base body, a first supporter fixed to the base body, a first movable part, first and second counter conductive parts. According to one embodiment, a method for controlling a vibration device includes a movable body capable of vibrating in a first direction, and a catch and release mechanism capable of catching the movable body that freely vibrates in the first direction, by an electrostatic attractive force, and releasing the caught movable body to freely vibrate the movable body in the first direction, wherein in a condition that tc is a time from a rise start time point to a rise end time point of an applied voltage for catching the movable body that freely vibrates in the first direction, by the electrostatic attractive force, and td is a period of the free vibration in the first direction of the movable body, the time tc is longer than the time td.

Vibration device and method for controlling the same

According to one embodiment, a sensor device includes a movable body capable of vibrating, and a catch-and-release mechanism capable of catching the vibrating movable body and capable of releasing the caught movable body. The catch-and-release mechanism includes a stopper portion capable of stopping vibration of the movable body when the movable body contacts the stopper portion, and an elastic member configured to reduce a force acting between the movable body and the stopper portion.

Sensor device employing MEMS

According to one embodiment, a MEMS element comprises a first electrode fixed on a substrate, and a second electrode arranged above the first electrode, facing the first electrode, and vertically movable. The second electrode includes a second opening portion that penetrates from an upper surface to a lower surface of the second electrode. The first electrode includes a first opening portion at a position corresponding to at least a part of the second opening portion, the first opening portion penetrating from an upper surface to a lower surface of the first electrode.

MEMS element and method of manufacturing the same

A magnetic powder is disclosed which is characterized by possessing a powder compression characteristic such that the magnetic powder, after being packed in a closed container, pressed at a load of 400 kgf/cm.sup.3, and relieved of the load, exhibits a packing density in the range of 2.5 to 3.5 g/cm.sup.3 and a geometric standard deviation of not more than 1.5 in the particle diameter distribution. A magnetic recording medium using the magnetic powder mentioned above has high packing and, consequently, secures high output, and has ample diminution of noise.

Hexagonal system ferrite powder for a high density magnetic recording

An object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic powder for magnetic recording and a magnetic recording medium wherein stability of a coercive force of each of the magnetic powder and the magnetic recording medium is improved. The magnetic powder for magnetic recording and the magnetic recording medium having the magnetic powder used therfor are characterized in that the magnetic powder is composed mainly of a plate-shaped ferrite having a crystalline anisotropy and containing an element effective for reducing a temperature coefficient of coercive force of the magnetic powder, and that a difference between a coercive force (Hc) of the magnetic powder at a room temperature and a coercive force (Hc(s)) of the magnetic powder in such a state that the magnetic powder is dispersively deposited on the surface of silica (SiO.sub.2) powder particles is 100 (Oe) or less.
