A method of providing a modifier on the surface of an active-containing core-shell aminoplast microcapsule, including the covalent attachment of the modifier to the capsule shell surface by means of a coupling compound capable of covalent bonding to both shell and modifier by means of epoxy groups on the coupling compound. The method is especially useful for enhancing the substantiveness to fabrics of fragrance microcapsules added to laundry products.

Approaches are described for coating various flexible media, such as sheets of paper, synthetic polymer (polyolefin, polyester, etc.) sheets or fabric sheets, with a silicone on high-speed rolls. For example, an efficient method is described for minimizing and/or reducing mist formation when coating flexible supports with a liquid silicone composition precursor of crosslinked coatings. The coating process can be performed using a coating device that includes a roll operating at a high speed.

The invention relates to novel hybrid compounds containing at least one polysaccharide entity (PS), such as guar, in which at least one hydroxyl function is substituted by at least one A polyoxyalkylene entity (PEG). The swivel Ro between the entity PS and the entity A is obtained by click chemistry and has the following formula (IL1) or (IL2), in which Z is a carbon or nitrogen atom. The invention relates to an active substance vector multiparticulate system and to the production and use thereof. The object of the invention is an active-substance vector multiparticulate system comprising one or several active substances included in a hydrophilic organic matrix comprising at least one hydrosoluble and/or hydrodispersable anionic polymer which is insolubilized by a metallic cation. The invention concerns a terephthalic polyester composition (CPT), comprising in mixture: an ethyleneterephthalate homooligomer (PET 1) essentially containing recurrent terephthalate oxyethylene (TE) units; and a block terephthalate copolymer (PET 2/TE-POE) containing at least a polyethyleneterephthalate (PET 2) sequence; and at least a terephthalate polyoxyethylene (TE-POE) sequence whereof the POE unit has a molecular mass of 1500 to 4000 in number; said composition (CPT) being characterised in that: the quantity of (TE) units of (PET 1) represents not more than 10% of the total number of (TE) units present in said composition (CPT); the weight quantity of (TE) units present in the composition (CPT) represents at least 10% of (TE) units present in the composition (CPT); the quantity by weight of mono(oxyethyleneoxy) radicals (OEO) represents at least 1.3% of the weight of the composition (CPT), said radicals (OEO) belonging to the aromatic diester oxyethylene groups (ODA) of formula: &mdash;A&mdash;C(O)&mdash;O&mdash;CH2&mdash;CH2&mdash;O&mdash;C(O)&mdash;A&mdash; present in all the (PET 1) and (PET 2) sequences; and the molar mass by weight of block terephthalic copolymer (PET 2/TE-POE) is at least 30000. The invention also concerns the use of said composition as soil release agent in detergent formulations for washing textiles.

Terephthalic polyester composition and its use as soil release agent

Laundry treatment compositions, especially detergent compositions or rinse conditioners, which deposit cellulosic polymers or related polysaccharide fabric rebuild agents onto textile fabrics are described. Such agents are used for laundering cellulosic fabrics such as cotton, to compensate for gradual loss of fibrous material on repeated washing.
