A modular suppressor kit includes a modular suppressor and suppressor tool. The modular suppressor includes a barrel attachment portion that has a central passage. The barrel attachment portion is configured to attach to a firearm barrel. The modular suppressor includes a cap portion that has a central passage. The modular suppressor includes a body portion that has an internal baffle structure and an expansion chamber. The body portion is attachable to, and separable from, the barrel attachment portion and the cap portion. The body portion defines a central passage that is alignable with the central passage of the barrel attachment portion and the central passage of the cap portion. The suppressor tool has an engagement feature for engaging with at least one of the barrel attachment portion, cap portion, and body portion.

The present disclosure relates to a firing mechanism for a firearm, wherein the firing mechanism includes: a housing having a central bore, a cam surface, and a striker sear slot; a striker sear pivotally connected to the housing and positioned within the striker sear slot, the striker sear having a striker head engagement surface; and a striker head movably positioned within the central bore, the striker head having a striker sear engagement surface configured to interface with the striker head engagement surface of the striker sear.

An accessory mount includes a barrel connector and multiple accessory connectors. The barrel connector removably assembles the accessory mount to the barrel of the firearm in axial alignment with the firing axis of the firearm. The accessory mount includes one or more of the accessory connectors to securely and removably assemble accessories to thereto. The accessory connectors include axial alignment features to axially align accessories with the firing axis and/or rotational alignment features to align the accessory alignment with the firing axis. Accessory connectors also include that enable an accessory to be securely assembled to the accessory mount in different rotational orientations.

Embodiments of the hingeable ogive projectile disclosed herein include a projectile comprising a nose portion comprising a plurality of slits, the plurality of slits being cut from an outer surface of the nose portion to a central cavity of the nose portion and an open space formed in a meplat at a distal end of the nose portion. The hingeable ogive projectile disclosed herein may be configured to switch from a non-deformed configuration during firing and a deformed configured upon impact with a target. Longitudinal compression of the nose portion causes the nose portion to expand radially and causes a plurality of petals to form from material in the nose portion between consecutive slits. Radial expansion and longitudinal compression of the nose portion cause buckling of a plurality of petals at a hinge point on each of the plurality of petals.

An eccentric firearm silencer includes an elongate body having a projectile entry end, a projectile exit end opposite the projectile entry end, a bore extending through the projectile entry end and the projectile exit end for conducting a projectile therethrough, and a longitudinal axis X passing through the bore. The elongate body is configured to be coupled, rotatably about or slidably parallel to the longitudinal axis X, to a barrel of the firearm at or near the projectile entry end. The elongate body includes a propellant gas expansion chamber disposed adjacent to, and in fluid communication with, the bore for receiving a propellant gas. The elongate body includes a capsule container mounted eccentrically adjacent to, and in fluid communication with, the propellant gas expansion chamber. The capsule container is configured to receive therein a capsule or ablative cartridge containing an amorphous solid or a liquid.
