A material includes at least transparent substrate and has a functional coating or functional layer to act on solar radiation and/or infrared radiation. The material includes an absorbent element in the form of a layer, which in particular absorbs the solar radiation in the visible part of the spectrum and does so in a specific manner. The material has an absorption profile with at least a spike centered between 480 and 549 nm, and a second spike centered between 630 nm and 779 nm. The addition of a layer-form absorbent element exhibiting these two absorption spikes allows an improvement in thermal performance, particularly the selectivity, without having a great impact on the aesthetics of the glazing, so that in particular the transmission remains neutral.

Glazing comprising a functional coating and an absorbing element

A substrate which is coated on one of its faces with a stack of thin layers having reflection properties in the infrared and/or in solar radiation, including two metallic functional layers, in particular based on silver. Each of the metallic functional layers is disposed between two dielectric coatings. The dielectric coating Di2 situated between the two functional layers includes at least one absorbent layer which absorbs solar radiation in the visible part of the spectrum. It has been found that for a stack for laminated glazing, some symmetry at the functional metal layers and the dielectric layers 1 and 3 is favorable.

Substrate provided with a stack having thermal properties and an absorbent layer

A substrate coated on one of its faces with a stack of thin layers having reflection properties in the infrared and/or in solar radiation, including two metallic functional layers, in particular on the basis of silver. Each of the metallic functional layers is disposed between two dielectric coatings. The coating includes at least two absorbent layers which absorb solar radiation in the visible part of the spectrum, which is disposed at least in two different dielectric coatings.

A glass article includes at least one glass substrate on which a stack of layers is deposited. The stack includes at least one layer consisting of a layer of silicon nitride of formulation SiN, in which x is less than 1.25. The physical thickness of the SiNlayer is between 5 and 50 nm. The light reflection of the glass article, measured on the side of the substrate on which the stack is deposited, is greater than 20%.

Substrate comprising a stack having thermal properties

Transparent especially glass, substrate () having at least on one of its sides an antireflection coating made from a stack (A) of thin dielectric layers of alternating high and low refractive indices, characterized in that the stack comprises, in succession: a high-index first film () having a refractive index nbetween 1.8 and 2.3 and a geometrical thickness eof between 10 and 25 nm; a low-index second film () with a refractive index nof between 1.40 and 1.55 and a geometrical thickness eof between 20 and 50 nm; a high-index third film () with a refractive index nof between 1.8 and 2.3 and a geometrical thickness nof between 110 and 150 nm; and a low-index fourth film () with a refractive index nof between 1.40 and 1.55 and a geometrical thickness eof between 60 and 95 nm, the algebraic sum of the geometrical thickness e+ebeing between 125 and 160 nm.
