A vacuum cleaner having a profile arrangement with a profile having a first profile part and a second profile part. The second profile part is arranged to at least partly enclose the first profile part and the first profile part is slidable into the second profile part for adjustment of a length of the profile. The housing is moveably attached to the profile, such that the housing is moveable along at least a part of the length of the profile.

An upright vacuum cleaner () comprises a main body () having arranged therein a suction chamber (), a fan unit (), a first suction duct (), a second suction duct () and a valve arrangement () operable to establish communication between each of the first and second suction ducts and the suction chamber. A floor nozzle arrangement () is provided at a first end () of the main body and in communication with said first suction duct. An auxiliary nozzle () for above-floor cleaning is provided, and an extensible and/or collapsible suction hose () connects the auxiliary nozzle to said second suction duct. The cleaner () has handle means () comprising an elongated recess () adapted to contain the greater part of the suction hose. The recess () may be open at one end or may be shaped as an open groove.

A vacuum cleaner apparatus for securing a hand held vacuum cleaner having a housing, the housing comprising a motor-fan unit, a dust container, and an air passage. The vacuum cleaner apparatus has a shaft part to which the housing can be secured, the shaft part comprising a handle and one or more batteries. The vacuum cleaner apparatus also has a floor nozzle and a tube passage configured to connect the floor nozzle to the air passage when the housing is secured to the shaft part.

A vacuum cleaner having a vacuum cleaner body, a suction fan and motor operatively associated with the vacuum cleaner body, and a wheel. The wheel has a wheel body having an axis of rotation, a tread surface, and a cushion layer radially interposed between the wheel body and the tread surface. The cushion layer includes a resilient shell having a plurality of resilient cells therein. The shell and the plurality of cells have one or more gasses in them, and are dimensioned to damp vibrations and impacts between the tread surface and a floor surface that the tread surface contacts as the wheel rotates about the axis of rotation.

The accessory unit has a housing, a first tool end, and a second tool end for releasable connection to a vacuum cleaner conduit. The first tool end has a first nozzle for vacuum cleaning, and the second tool end has two pivotable arms for forming second and third nozzles. Each arm has distal and proximal ends. The distal ends are arranged to be brought together for forming the second nozzle, and to be spread apart for forming the third nozzle. Furthermore, the arms are folded together to bring the distal arm ends in vicinity of each other for releasable connection of the second tool end to the vacuum cleaner conduit by at least partial insertion into said vacuum cleaner conduit.

An upper portion of the support body () is provided with a layer () of a slip reducing material at least on a rear surface thereof.
