A static electrical device assembly including: a static electrical device; a heat exchanger system including a first heat exchanger adapted for cooling of the static electrical device by transferring heat into ambient air, and a second heat exchanger adapted for recovering heat from the static electrical device; a flow passage adapted to provide a route for air flow between outdoor air and the first heat exchanger; a sensor system adapted to provide temperature information relating to the static electrical device; and a control system (CTRL) adapted to control the heat exchanger system based on information provided by the sensor system. The heat exchanger system further includes a shutter arrangement adapted to adjust a surface area of the flow passage, the control system (CTRL) is adapted to control the shutter arrangement between an open state and an enclosed state.

Static electrical device assembly comprising heat exchanger system

An arrangement for an overvoltage protection of a subsea electrical apparatus and a method for operating it. The arrangement includes a tank submersible below a water surface level, an electrical apparatus accommodated in the tank, and a surge arrester arrangement accommodated in the tank and coupled to a power supply of the electrical apparatus in the tank for providing the overvoltage protection of the electrical apparatus. The arrangement further includes a controllable grounding switch for connecting the surge arrester arrangement to a ground point in response to a control of the grounding switch to a closed state and for disconnecting the surge arrester arrangement from the ground point in response to a control of the grounding switch to an open state.

Arrangement for overvoltage protection of subsea electrical apparatus

A pressure compensated subsea electrical system and a pressure compensated subsea electrical system which has a housing filled with a dielectric liquid. The housing has a first housing portion and a second housing portion in pressure communication with each other. The first housing portion includes a transformer, and the second housing portion includes a power converter. The pressure compensated subsea electrical system includes a pressure compensator arranged to compensate pressure inside the housing. The pressure compensator is enabled to compensate pressure in both the first housing portion and the second housing portion.

Pressure compensated subsea electrical system

A subsea pressure compensation arrangement is disclosed as having a vessel filled with insulating fluid, and a pressure compensator for compensating pressure variations of the insulating fluid. The arrangement can include a fluid connection pipe for fluid communication between the vessel and the pressure compensator, wherein the fluid connection pipe is connected to a bottom wall of the pressure compensator. A pipe opening arranged at an end of the fluid connection pipe extends above a level of the bottom wall of the pressure compensator.

Subsea pressure compensation arrangement

A pressure compensator is disclosed for a subsea electric installation, which includes a rigid bottle and a flexible bag placed in the rigid bottle, the pressure compensator including a first opening at a first end of the pressure compensator allowing fluid communication of an insulating medium arranged to intermediate space between the rigid bottle and the flexible bag, a second opening at a second end of the pressure compensator allowing fluid communication of seawater arranged within the flexible bag; and a bypass channel providing fluid communication between two points in the intermediate space of the pressure compensator.

Pressure compensator

A pressure compensator is configured to compensate for volume variations of an insulation medium of a subsea installation. The pressure compensator includes a first bellows chamber having walls and a first bellows part. The first bellows chamber is in flow connection with an insulation medium chamber of the subsea installation, and the walls of the first bellows chamber are configured to separate the insulating medium from surroundings. The first bellows chamber is surrounded by a second bellows chamber having walls and a second bellows part. The second bellows chamber is configured to form a closed intermediate space around the first bellows chamber. The walls of the second bellows chamber are configured to separate at least the bellows parts of the first bellows chamber from the surrounding sea water. The second bellows chamber is further filled with an intermediate medium.

The invention relates to a circuit breaker, which is in a fault situation arranged to disconnect an electrical apparatus, such as a distribution transformer, from an average voltage network or a high voltage network at each terminal. At least one link-spring mechanism is arranged at a shaft of the circuit breaker for holding contacts live in connected position and for pushing them apart to the extreme disconnected position when disconnected, while the shaft is brought over the dead spot of its turning. For an initial release, the shaft is at each phase provided with a lever arm, each lever arm at each phase being arranged to turn by a trip pin of a striker of a high voltage fuse the shaft of the circuit breaker and thus the moving contacts of all phases from said connected position over the dead spot of turning said shaft.
