A hoisting rope arrangement in a trolley moving along a main girder of a crane and driven by an outside mechanism is provided. Both sides of the trolley are provided with successive rope pulley pairs located at a distance from one another in a longitudinal direction of the trolley and, below these, sheaves situated in a hoisting member, whereby on both sides of the trolley, a first hoisting rope is led from a first end of the main girder of the crane via one rope pulley of a first rope pulley pair down to the sheave and therefrom via an other rope pulley to a second end of the main girder, and a second hoisting rope is led from the second end of the main girder via one rope pulley of a second rope pulley pair down to the sheave and therefrom via an other rope pulley to the first end of the main girder. The arrangement employs rope pulley pairs which comprise differently sized rope pulleys but which are mounted in successive fastening points of the trolley such that they are reversed in relation to one another and such that in successive pulley pairs the differently sized rope pulleys are aligned with one another as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the trolley.

A mobile crane including a frame which, in its upper part, is provided with a main support structure and which, in its lower part and on opposite sides of the lower part of the frame, is provided with lower beam structures transverse to the main support structure, and upright legs between the main support structure and the lower beam structures; at least one wheel or wheel arrangement at both ends of the lower beam structures, i.e. in each lower corner of the crane; a trolley arranged to move along the main support structure and provided with a hoisting member; at least one hoisting mechanism; at least one rope drum arranged to be run by the hoisting mechanism; and at least one rope arranged from the rope drum of the hoisting mechanism to the hoisting member for running it, the rope drum being further provided with at least one hoisting rope connected to at least one counterweight.

Mobile crane

A crane, particularly a rubber-wheel container crane includes a frame which has, on opposite sides of its lower part, main beam structures at both ends of which, i.e. in the lower corners of the crane, there are two successive rubber wheels or wheel arrangements through which the crane is supported by its moving carrier. These wheels are supported by the main beam structure rigidly and in an unsuspended manner.

The invention relates to a method to form a rail joint, in which staggerings () corresponding to each other are made in joinable solid-profile rail ends () of parts () of a rail () so that when a completed rail joint is viewed from above the rail heads bond; both rail ends are secured to a corresponding mounting; the rail ends secured to the mountings are brought against each other whereby said bonding is established; and the mountings that are against each other are secured to one another. The staggerings () are made in such a manner that the lower edges () of the rail ends () are left substantially unstaggered whereby the staggerings extend from these lower edges towards the top surfaces or the rail ends; and the rail ends () are welded by their lower edges () at their entire width to their mountings (). The invention also relates to a rail joint made by this method.
