The method is used for manufacturing a mounting element with an angle sensor for an actuator in an internal combustion engine. The mounting element has electrical connections () and contains an angle sensor (). To simplify manufacture, electronic components () are electrically connected directly to a leadframe (). Next, the leadframe () with the electronic components () is overmoulded with thermoset (), and the resultant angle sensor module () is assembled with a preproduced mounting element. The mounting element itself may be made of thermoplastic or thermoset and comprises a plug connection ().

Method for manufacturing a mounting element with an angle sensor

The present invention relates to a throttle-valve housing having a continuous throttle opening for a throttle-valve which is arranged on a throttle-valve shaft, and a housing having a housing cover and a housing body. An electric drive and a first electronic mechanism for the drive are arranged in the housing, for displacing the throttle-valve shaft. The throttle-valve housing is especially non-complex in terms of production and assembly, and can be especially easily connected to other electronic mechanisms of the motor vehicle. To this end, the first electronic mechanism for the electric drive and the second electronic mechanism for appliances outside the housing are arranged in the cover of the housing. Both the first electronic mechanism of the electric drive for the throttle-valve shaft and the second electronic mechanism for the electrical appliances, can be brought into contact with the electrical appliances outside the housing by means of electrical connections which are at least partially arranged in the cover of the housing.

Throttle body and electronic module

A device for producing an electric signal which corresponds to the position of an object which is movable in translation or rotation relative to a base, wherein by optical scanning of markings which periodically recur upon a movement of the object, analog voltage signals A, A and B, B are produced by means of sensors which are spaced apart from each other by one-quarter of the scanning period. The signals are converted in an evaluation circuit with comparators into digital forms of the signals A and B (quadrature signal). In order to produce a test signal S, there is also provided in the device a summation circuit by means of which the voltage signals A, A and B, B are added and compared in a comparator with a threshold value.

Position indicator

A method for recognizing idling in a load-shifting device of an internal combustion engine controlled by throttle valve, in which the position of a setting element on the throttle-valve side is monitored by a first potentiometer and the position of a setting element on the setting-drive side is monitored by a second potentiometer. In order to be able to dispense with a separate idle contact associated with the setting element on the accelerator-pedal side for detecting the driver's wish for 'idling', use is made of potentiometers having linear characteristic curves, and comparing the ratio of the characteristic curves with the actual characteristic curve ratio resulting in operation for differences. A second solution proposes adjusting the two potentiometers to the same slope by balancing at two points each, continuously detecting the voltage shifts of the two potentiometers and recognizing idling if, with a given voltage shift of the one potentiometer, a voltage shift which is predetermined on basis of the microlinearity properties of the potentiometers occurs on the other potentiometer.

A load adjustment device for an internal combustion engine includes a throttle valve (4) which can be acted on via a the setting element (8) on the accelerator-pedal side and, also by an electromotive setting drive (12), their movements being decoupled. In order to be able to note both the idle position of the setting element (8) and a driver's wish for 'idle' and, furthermore, the actual position value of the electromotive setting drive (12) for a position control circuit and the throttle-valve position for injection electronics, there is a drive potentiometer (25) associated with the electromotive setting drive (12). Also a throttle-valve potentiometer (24) is associated with the throttle valve (4). The drive (12) and the potentiometer (24) have a common support plate (19) which is fastened, fixed for rotation, to the drive shaft (11) of the electromotive setting drive (12). There are two wiper paths (21, 20), a wiper (21) for the drive potentiometer (25) being arranged fixed on the housing and a wiper (20) for the throttle-valve potentiometer (24) fastened, fixed for rotation, to a further setting element on the throttle-valve side. The further setting element is developed as throttle-valve shaft (5). Alternatively the two potentiometers may be provided with different support plates, one plate operating with the electromotive setting drive and the other plate operating with the accelerator setting element.

A throttle-valve setting device has, for idle adjustment, a motor setting lever (10) which displaces a throttle valve (3) and is connected via a path-dependent controlling movement-reversal device (15) to a setting member (13) of a setting motor (12). Thereby, upon activation of the setting motor (12), the setting lever (10) first swings slightly in one direction and then in the other direction to the full-load position of the throttle valve (3).
