A safety support comprising a plate with ribs and a U-shaped upper part with two lateral branches and an upper base zone. The two lateral branches each comprise an articulation zone including pivoting axles extending parallel to the plane defined by the upper part and two superposed connecting zones, which are mutually linked by an assembly part, each having a bore for its respective pivoting axle. Moreover, each articulation zone comprises at least three pivoting axles, the connecting zones have each an arc-shaped part, defined by two flattened zones extending parallel to the plane, and the two neighbouring articulation pins are each mutually linked by two assembly parts.

Safety support

The carrier for conveying horses has a tub-like substructure (22) mounted on a chassis (20), the substructure being provided with a rear door for entry and exit. The substructure (22) is closed at the top by means of a roof (34). In order to provide a certain free field of vision for the horses in an obliquely forward-oriented direction and to prevent the horses from appreciating the limited interior space of the horse transport carrier when they enter, a lift device for elevating the roof (34) from the substructure (22) is provided between the substructure (22) and the roof (34). From the normal, closed position, the roof (34) can be elevated in desired increments to an elevated position providing a free space between the roof (34) and the substructure (22).

Carrier for conveying horses, particularly a trailer

A bitless bridle has a noseband (2) which on each side ends with a lateral ring (24), and has a flexible and elastic metal strip (28) embedded in the noseband. The bridle also has a left and a right, short guide piece (34) on each side connected to lateral rings (24) from which guide pieces hang downwardly and end with a guide ring (40). A left and a right rein (46, 48) are fastened to the lateral rings (24); and the reins run under the chin of the animal where they cross. The right rein is connected to the left lateral ring and the left rein is connected to the right lateral ring. The reins run through the guide rings (40) on their respective sides (FIG. 1).
