The fitting, in particular a safety valve, operates according to the relief principle or according to the loading principle. The fitting is opened and closed by a plurality of control parts. The control parts are connected in series in the control line of the fitting and are each actuated by a control valve. The control parts open the fitting only when all the control parts are in a position which opens the fitting. The fitting closes as soon as even only one of the control parts is in a position which closes the fitting.

The fitting, in particular a safety valve, operates according to the relief principle or according to the loading principle. The fitting is opened and closed by a plurality of pilot parts. The pilot parts are connected in series in the control line of the fitting and are each actuated by a pilot valve. The pilot parts open the fitting only when all the pilot parts are in a position which opens the fitting. The fitting closes as soon as even only one of the pilot parts is in a position which closes the fitting.

Spring-loaded tandem control valve

A control device includes a pressure-displacement transducer for triggering a control part for activating a safety valve of a pressure vessel. A space in the pressure-displacement transducer can be connected to a blow-off tank through a drainage line. A first embodiment includes a switchover valve device which is associated with the drainage line and connects the space to a take-off line instead of to the blow-off tank when the pressure in the blow-off tank is above a limiting pressure. A second embodiment includes a hydraulic compensating system which exerts a first force on the pressure-displacement transducer, from a pressure in the blow-off tank. That force counteracts a second force produced in the space by that pressure and in particular compensates for that force.

Pilot device for a safety valve

A loading machine for simultaneously transferring fuel elements between a reactor core and a storage rack in a nuclear power station has a mast divided into individual mast parts. Each mast part has its own gripping and guiding devices for gripping and holding the individual fuel elements. The mast is provided on a trolley. At least one of the mast parts is movable horizontally on the trolley and is rotatable about its longitudinal axis. The individual fuel elements can be lifted out of the reactor core simultaneously, their position relative to each other can be changed, and the fuel elements can be set down on a storage rack or a workplace. A method for transferring fuel elements in a nuclear power station is also provided.

A blow-off device for live steam includes a filter for radioactive substances in order to increase operational safety in a nuclear power plant. The filter is preferably integrated in a housing of a muffler or sound absorber and is disposed on a slide which is movable along an axis under the effect of gravitational force and in particular also serves as a closure for an outlet opening of the muffler or sound absorber. A method of blowing off live steam is also provided.

A pressurizer includes a casing in which at least one spray line ends. The spray line is guided through a wall in a lower region of the casing and is disposed in such a way as to run upward inside the casing. The spray line ends at its geodetically highest point.

A valve includes a device for shutting off a valve interior. The shutoff device is positioned by a piston which is guided in a cylinder and forms a first chamber and a second chamber in the cylinder. The second chamber communicates with the valve interior through a throttle path, so that the shutoff device is movable in a damped manner in both closing and opening directions.

Pressure fitting, in particular a pressure relief and safety valve

A steam power station, in particular a nuclear power station, includes a steam conduit leading through a wall and forming a fixed point with the wall for the introduction of forces and moments. A main valve is connected to the steam conduit at the fixed point, without a high-pressure pipe being interposed. Satellite valves, which have smaller nominal widths than the main valve, are fastened to the housing of the main valve, without a high-pressure pipe being interposed. At least one additional valve has a housing fastened to the housing of a satellite valve, without a high-pressure pipe being interposed and without any support.

An apparatus for securing a pressure vessel against over pressure includes a shaped part connected to a pressure vessel and a valve assembly being disposed on the shaped part. The valve assembly includes a housing block, at least one safety valve having a valve seat disposed in the housing block, a hydraulic seal for the safety valve, and a conduit being disposed inside the housing block and/or the shaped part for receiving the hydraulic seal.

Apparatus for securing a pressure vessel against over pressure

A combination pressure vessel and pressure protection installation for the pressure vessel includes a connector pipe connected to the pressure vessel. A valve assembly has a housing block disposed directly on the connector pipe and has at least one safety valve to be hydraulically actuated by a medium brought from the pressure vessel. Lines bring the medium to the safety valve. The lines are guided in segments inside the pressure vessel, the connector pipe and the housing block.

Pressure protection installation for a pressure vessel

A valve, particularly for shutting off a flow, includes a housing. A rotationally fixed threaded part is rotationally fixed and axially displaceable in the housing. A rotatable threaded part is axially resiliently and rotatably supported in the housing. A brake device has at least two friction surfaces facing one another. One of the friction surfaces is rotationally fixed in the housing, and the other of the friction surfaces is rotationally fixedly joined to the rotatable threaded part. The friction surfaces are pressed against one another by an axial displacement for braking a rotary motion of the rotatable threaded part and forming a braking surface, if a predetermined command force upon the rotationally fixed threaded part is exceeded. At least one of the friction surfaces has a predetermined free angle for rotational fixation. According to one embodiment of the invention, at least one brake ring is axially displaceably disposed on the rotatable threaded part, and the other of the friction surfaces is located on the at least one brake ring. According to another embodiment of the invention, a brake sleeve being axially displaceable in the housing has an end surface, and the one friction surface is disposed on the end surface of the brake sleeve.

Shut-off valve

A fitting, in particular for shutting off a flow, includes a housing. A fixed threaded part is axially displaceable and fixed against relative rotation in the housing. A rotatable threaded part is axially resiliently and rotatably supported in the housing. A braking device has at least two friction surfaces facing toward one another and being pressed against one another with a braking force if a predetermined rated force upon the fixed threaded part is exceeded, in order to brake a rotary motion of the rotatable threaded part through an axial displacement and form a braking surface. One of the friction surfaces is connected to and fixed against rotation relative to the rotatable threaded part. A cup spring assembly has a width, an intermediate radius and at least one cup spring for resiliently supporting the rotatable threaded part in at least one axial direction. The braking force relative to the width of the cup spring assembly is introduced over the intermediate radius of the cup spring assembly.

Fitting for shutting off a flow

A bolted pipe joint releasable by remote control includes two flanges each eing disposed at a respective one of two pipe ends. A centering aid cooperates with both of the flanges. A seal is provided for the pipe ends. A fastening screw presses the two flanges together. The fastening screw has first and second threaded regions being successively engaged upon pressing the flanges together. The first threaded region has a substantially greater pitch than the second threaded region.

A remote-controllable screw connection includes a nut, a first flange relvely closer to and a second flange relatively further away from the nut. At least one screw bolt connects the flanges to the nut. A sheath surrounds the screw bolt between the nut and the first flange. The sheath is non-rotatably but axially displaceably connected to the screw bolt.
