A push-pull driver according to an example includes a push stage coupled via a first coupling capacitor to an output of the push-pull driver and a pull stage coupled via a second coupling capacitor to the output of the push-pull driver. Using an example may allow to improve a trade-off between saving energy, an overall complexity of a corresponding implementation, a robust and reliable operation and other parameters and design goals.

An output stage includes a first transistor pair with a first conductivity type and a second transistor pair with a second conductivity type. The source connections of the first and second transistors in the first transistor pair and of the first and second transistors in the second transistor pair are respectively connected to a first and a second circuit node. The output stage further includes a first current mirror with the first conductivity type and a second current mirror with the second conductivity type. The current mirror transistors are connected to the signal output. The signal input is connected to control connections of the first transistors in the first and second transistor pairs. A second connection of the second transistor in the first transistor pair is connected to the second current mirror, and a second connection of the second transistor in the second transistor pair is connected to the first current mirror.

Output stage, amplifier control loop and use of the output stage

According to one or more aspects of the present invention, a receiver arrangement is disclosed that is configured to receive digital television signals. The receiver arrangement has at least one first frequency conversion device with the signal input, a local oscillator input and an output. The at least one first frequency conversion device is designed to convert a signal which is applied to the input side to an intermediate frequency. A first amplifier is also provided and is designed with amplification in order to compensate for the signal level loss in a filter which is connected downstream from the first amplifier. The first amplifier is coupled to the output of the frequency conversion device. An intermediate-frequency amplifier with a variable gain factor is also provided, and is coupled to the first amplifier. At least the at least one first frequency conversion device the first amplifier are formed in a common semiconductor body.

Integrated circuit television receiver arrangement

A circuit arrangement includes two adjustable amplification devices where the signal output of the first amplification device is connected to the signal input of the second amplification device. The first amplification device has a digital input for controlling its gain and the second amplification device has an input for controlling its gain. The input for gain control in the second amplification device is connected to the input for controlling the gain of the first amplification device via a means such that a change in the gain of the second amplification device in one direction is effected by a change in gain, brought about by means of the control, in the first amplification device in the opposite direction such that the total gain remains essentially the same.

Mixer circuit with phase-shifted radio frequency signal

A circuit configuration for filtering a radio-frequency signal, in particular, in tuners for television sets, includes a control signal connection for feeding in a control signal, a controllable-frequency oscillator, at least one filter having an adjustable passband for a useful signal, and a device for providing a correction signal. The filters are, preferably, tracking filters whose filter band can be shifted by a control signal. At least one filter has a variable-frequency element with a first connection and a second connection. The first connection is coupled to the control signal connection, and the correction signal device is coupled to the second connection. For fine tuning production tolerances, the filters are supplied with a correction signal, which is applied to the other pole of the variable-frequency element of the filter as compared with the control signal. The value range of the correction signals is limited to the correction range and is much lower than the value range for the control signal.
