An electrified rail for metal shelving units, the rail comprising a body of electrically insulating material, provided with longitudinal slots. Each slot having a wire of electrically conducting metal surrounded for more than 180&#xb0; of its cross section by the walls of the respective slot, the remaining section of the wires being exposed for electric contact. The body of the rail being formed to allow transversal elastic deformation of the rail itself after the surrounding and holding of the wires the slots are open on a visible planar side of the rail body with longitudinal mouths having a width always inferior to the diameter of wires, the wires being held in slots by the monolithic body of the rail itself, while through the narrow mouths of said slots every electric wire can be reached by the devices mounted on the rail.

Reinforced shelf for metal shelving unit, particularly for the shelving units whose shelves (B, Bn) are provided, on the side facing the public, with electronic labels and/or other peripherals, and wherein the shelf on its bottom side has plate reinforcement (T, Tn), parallel to each other and to the front and rear side (LA, LP) of the shelf itself, characterized in that in correspondence or at the ends of the reinforcements (T, Tn) there are provided at least a pair of apertures () for the passage and support of wiring (D), necessary to connect means (P) on the rear side of the shelves, to means (P) on the front side of the shelf (B, Bn) for supporting and displaying goods. The apertures () are sufficiently distant from the angular bent and ribbed areas of the reinforcements (T, Tn) so as not substantially modify the characteristics of bend strength and torsion resistance of the reinforcements. A method for radiographic imaging is described. Radiographic raw images of an object are generated by an imaging system comprising an X-ray source and an X-ray detector and moving along a given trajectory during an acquisition process of the radiographic images. During the generation of the radiographic raw images displacement data describing the displacement of the moving object are generated by means of a sensor arrangement and a control unit connected with the sensor arrangement. Finally views of the object are produced by image processing of the radiographic raw images in the control unit wherein the displacement data are used for compensating the motion of the object. For the compensation of the motion, the object is treated as stationary and the actual trajectory is replaced by a virtual trajectory resulting in a spatial relation between the stationary object and the imaging system on the virtual trajectory that corresponds to the spatial relation between the displaced object and the imaging system on the actual trajectory.

Dynamic error correction in radiographic imaging

A radiographic X-ray apparatus is equipped with multiple devices for the acquisition of anatomical data, in particular cameras. These devices are used to facilitate and automate the imaging process, providing: before exposure the automated identification of the specific anatomical features of the patient and the optimized presetting of the exposure technique factors and projection geometry, tailored on the actual anatomy of the patient; during exposure the optimized X-ray dose modulation, either automatically or selected by the operator, in order to correctly expose the various regions of interest, and accordingly impart reduced dose to other body parts, according to the actual anatomy of the patient and imaging requirements; after exposure the possibility to complement the radiographic image with additional information about the internal and external anatomy, providing valuable tools for the medical analysis and diagnosis.

In a computed tomography scanner having an emitter for emitting a beam of given radiation through an object to be analysed, a detector for receiving said beam after the beam itself has traversed the object, and a rotating arm, which supports the emitter and the detector and rotates the emitter and the detector about the object along a series of angular positions, there is generated a succession of first pulses, each of which activates the detector in one respective angular position, and a succession of second pulses for activating the emitter so that it will emit a dose of radiation in each angular position, associated to which is a respective dose of radiation in such a way as to pre-define a distribution of doses of radiation along the series of angular positions.

An apparatus and a method is proposed which allow for a simplified patient positioning based on the selection of a region of interest for the tomographic image of the dentition of a patient. The region of interest is selected on a previously acquired panoramic image of the dentition of the patient.
