A process for reducing aluminum pick-up and adherence during the ultrasonic welding of aluminum braids which are welded in a vertically and/or horizontally adjustable compression chamber of an ultrasonic welding device. The static tool parts which delimit the compression chamber have working surfaces made from polycrystalline diamond (PCD).

Process for reducing aluminium pick-up, and ultrasonic welding device

An arrangement for the welding of cables by means of an ultrasonic welding device with a compression chamber for housing the cables defined by at least sections of a sonotrode transmitting ultrasonic vibrations, a counter electrode and lateral defining elements. In order to guarantee a desired layout for the cables, the components are installed in an insertion space, before closing the compression chamber, the width of which is less than that of the open compression chamber.

Arrangement for welding workpieces by means of an ultrasonic device

A device for compacting and/or welding electric conductors (), in particular for producing via nodes or end nodes of stranded conductors. The device includes a first electrode, one section of which constitutes a first delimitation surface of a compacting chamber that receives the conductor, the chamber in addition being delimited by one section of a counter-electrode that forms a second delimitation surface and by at least one additional third delimitation surface that is formed by a section of a delimitation element. The inventions simplifies the construction of the device, enabling repeated compacting and welding of conductors. To achieve this, a compacting chamber has a substantially triangular open cross-section, which is surrounded by the sections of the first electrode and the counter-electrode, these sections being adjustable in relation to one another, and by the delimitation element.

Device for compacting and/or welding electric conductors

A method and device for making multiple connections between electrical conductors surrounded by external insulators in overlapping flexible cables by ultrasonic welding. Overlapping conductors to be connected are arranged on a surface of a carrier disposed between a sonotrode and an electrode, the sonotrode and electrode are sequentially aligned the with overlapping points to be welded, and the conductors are ultrasonically welded at each of the overlapping points. The carrier either includes the electrode at least in designated areas, or includes penetrations constructed and arranged to receive an electrode in designated areas.

Method and device for connecting conductors

The invention relates to a process for welding electric conductors employing ultrasound following compaction. The process comprises compaction of the conductors in a compaction area by adjusting height and width up to a preset contact force and ultrasonically welding according to predetermined, stored parameters.
