A sensor for measuring pressures in low-viscosity media for use in injection molding includes a housing with an axis A, a flat end face to be exposed to a pressure space, and a diaphragm that is arranged on the end face and is permanently connected to the housing. A measuring element that can infer a pressure prevailing in the pressure space on the basis of deflection of the diaphragm is arranged behind the diaphragm. A pressure sleeve that is tightly connected to the sensor on the end face and is arranged at a distance from the housing with a gap behind this connection is arranged coaxially with the housing axis A outside the housing. The gap extends axially further across the measuring element than the region of the force path in the direction away from the pressure space.

Pressure sensor for low-viscosity media

A measuring arrangement for measuring one or more pressures and/or temperatures in an injection-molding system includes a base plate and at least one mould insert with at least part of a cavity. The base plate and the mould insert rest against one another in a releasable manner on at least one common separating surface. The mould insert includes at least one sensor for detecting pressures and/or temperatures as well as a transmitter module on the separating surface, which transmitter module is electrically connected to the sensor. The base plate includes a receiving module on the separating surface opposite the transmitter module, wherein measurement data can be transmitted from the transmitter module to the receiving module. The transmitter module and the receiving module on the separating surface are essentially planar and can be separated without force.

Measuring arrangement in an injection-moulding system

A measuring arrangement for assembly on or in a tool, in particular, in an injection moulding tool, comprising two or more sensors for the simultaneous measurement of measured parameters, each sensor generating a measurement signal in the operating state, at least two measurement signals being of different types from each other. The measuring arrangement comprises a signal converter with an output interface, all measured signals being converted into the same type of output signal in the signal converter. Said output signals can be transmitted through the output interface by means of a detachable signal line to an analytical unit.

Measuring arrangement

A temperature sensor has a sensor tip and a front for measuring the temperature of the inner walls of tools, particularly inner walls of injection molding tools. The tip of the temperature sensor has two thermocouple wires of a thermocouple. Each thermocouple wire of the thermocouple guided to the front is welded to the sensor tip up to a depth which is larger than the total processing depth behind the front. The sensor tip is processable by removing of material at the front up to that processing depth.

The invention concerns an important innovation for combustion engine research, whereby thermal shocks overlaid upon the pressure cycles are compensated. For this a diaphragm construction is proposed consisting of an annular plate and central plate, which is joined to an annular support in such a way that a bridge girder structure with double parallelogram support results. The position and thickness of the central plate are optimizable, and it serves as an actuator element for controlling the compensation process via the double parallelogram structure. At the same time, the central plate is raised to a significantly higher temperature level by controlled heat conduction paths. A novel thermal shock compensation is achieved by these two measures. Further improvement is possible by stepwise optimization of the central plate, by turning it on a lathe and comparing it in the test engine for example.
