A plug-type connector for connecting a cable with at least one wire to a respective plug contact includes a first housing part, a connection block and a second housing part. A hinge connection allows the second housing part to pivot out of a first position into a second position towards the first housing part. In the first position the wire can be inserted into a wire channel of the connection block and, in the second position, the second housing part presses the connection block against the insulation displacement contact. The second housing part can move into a third position in which the connection block is fully pressed onto the insulation displacement contact. The hinge connection allows an insertion movement from the second into the third position such that the second housing part inserts the wire into the insulation displacement contact in an exclusively translatory manner.

A plug housing comprises at least one leaf spring element in a cable duct, which has a central part and a respective first and second lateral part which are bent in relation to said central part. The first lateral part is elastically bent via a first bending edge and the second lateral part is elastically bent via an opposing second bending edge on the central part. The central part extends substantially parallel to the cable duct. In relation to the central part, the first and the second lateral part adopt a respective variable acute angle and a variable respective height. The first and second lateral part narrow the cable duct such that, in an assembled state, a respective end section of the first and second lateral part press against the cable with a respective elastic force and thereby bring about the strain- and pressure-resistant securing of the cable.

The invention refers to a kink protection for prefabricated cables having first and second sleeves which fit around part of the cable or a plug connector adapted to be assembled in different relative positions. Each of the two sleeves is designed in general as a rectilinear tube section with a longitudinal axis. One end of the first sleeve has two integrally formed projections in the form of two regular octagons having the same spanner width, which are arranged on both sides of the longitudinal axis and the rotational axes of symmetry of which coincide and perpendicularly intersect the longitudinal axis. One end of the second sleeve has four elongated extensions which are distributed in a rotationally symmetrical manner about the longitudinal axis, each extending parallel to the longitudinal axis. Two mutually adjacent extensions form a spanner jaw having a jaw width corresponding to the spanner width of the octagon.

A data cable connector module with a fixation element for positioning and fixation of cable conductors of a multi core cable, with: conductor receiving units with conductor guide and connection openings for bent IDCs, IDC receiving units for fixation of connected IDCs with contact openings; a centric metallic shield star which shields each conductor pair and is electrically conductively connected with the housing of the fixation element; and a detachably connectable, changeable contact module with a metal housing, an isolation socket for receiving bent slide contacts with connector ends for connection to a circuit board which connects the slide contacts and the module plug-in contacts, a front connector face for external connectors; and a fixation element connector face with in at least one end isolator block guided module plug-in contacts. The fixation element and the contact module are electrically conductively connectable with the IDCs.

A data cable connector module with a fixation element for the positioning and fixation of the cable conductors of a multi core cable, conductor receiving units for bent IDCs, IDC receiving units for fixation of connected IDCs; a centric metallic shield star electrically conductively connected with a fixation element housing; and a contact module with a contact module metal housing, an isolation socket for the reception of bent slide circuit board contacts; at least one circuit board, a front connector face; and a fixation element connector face with at least one end isolator block guided plug-in contacts, the fixation element and the contact module being developed so that they can be brought into contact with the IDCs, causing the cable conductors of the fixation element to be electrically conductively connected with the slide contacts of the contact module; and a process for the assembly of the module to a cable.
