A sleeve-type rubber shock absorber with hydraulic damping for mounts in motor vehicles includes an inner mounting sleeve (1), an outer mounting sleeve (2) surrounding same at a radially spaced location, at least one elastomer body (3), which is adheringly arranged between the two mounting sleeves and forms at least one chamber (4) filled with hydraulic damping agent. A cap (5) sealingly closes the sleeve-type rubber shock absorber, forming a second chamber (6). A channel plate (7) is provided which contains a throttle channel (7.1) connecting the chambers (4 and 6), wherein the outer bearing sleeve (2) has at least two different external diameters, of which the mainly radially loaded area of the smaller diameter is inserted into the motor vehicle component (8). At least two stop buffers (9) are arranged distributed over the circumference and are provided on the corresponding area of the inner mounting sleeve (1). The area of the larger diameter contains the chambers (4, 6), which are separated by the channel plate (7) and are filled with damping agent. The preferably two-part channel plate (7) has a support part (7.2) with the throttle channel (7.1) as well as a cover (7.3) closing same. The support part (7.2) is made in one piece with a diaphragm (7.4), whose radially inner area is sealingly inserted into a complementary mount of the inner mounting sleeve (1).

Sleeve-type rubber shock absorber with hydraulic damping

The present invention pertains to a plain bearing for chassis parts in motor vehicles, in which a sliding layer, which is made of plastic and has lubrication bore reliefs on its outer jacket, is sprayed in a firmly adhering manner onto a metallic inner part in a mold, and an elastomer body arranged in a metallic receiving bush surrounds the inner part with the sliding layer in a slidingly movable manner. Recesses, whose side wall has a profile undercut in the direction of removal from the mold, are provided on the circumference of the inner part.

Plain bearing for chassis parts in motor vehicles

A plastic bearing consisting of an elastically deformable material for stabilizers in motor vehicles of a one-part design, slotted on one side in an axial plane, which can be opened for mounting, with an inner contact surface (6), which is slidingly movable on the jacket surface of the stabilizer and is delimited by sealing lip rings (19) at the axial ends, on which pockets (7) filled with a lubricant are provided between radially extending beads (20) and longitudinal ribs (21) extending axially between them, and which plastic bearing can be mounted in a housing under pretension. In order for such a plastic bearing to uncouple vibrations, on the one hand, and rotary and sliding movements, on the other hand, in the stabilizer as optimally as possible, the ratio of the diameter (DS) of the stabilizer (1) to the diameter (DV) of the radial beads (20) is inversely proportional to the ratio of the diameter (DS) of the stabilizer (1) to the diameter (DL) of the longitudinal ribs (21), and sealing lip rings (19) of a special dimension are provided at both axial ends of the contact surface.

Plastic bearing for stabilizers in motor vehicles

The elastic sliding bearing for chassis parts in motor vehicles has a rigid inner bushing, an outer bushing, and an elastomeric body surrounding them. The inner bushing and the outer bushing are provided at both ends with axial bearing surfaces on radially extending flange projections (8, 9), and a seal surrounding the flange projections (8) on the outer bushing (2) is provided. The seal acts against the axially outer flange surface of the outer bushing (2) with at least one sealing lip. A plastic layer (5) possessing good sliding properties, whose outer contact surface with the outer bushing has lubricant pockets (6) for receiving a grease filling, is provided on the outer jacket of the inner bushing (1). The radially extending flange projections (9) at the axial ends of the inner bushing consist of an annular disk (10) each made from plastic, which is placed axially non-displaceably on the plastic layer (5) extending continuously to the axial end of the inner bushing (1) by means of a snap-in connection, while undergoing elastic expansion.

Elastic sliding bearing

An elastic sliding bearing for vehicle parts in motor vehicles, a rigid inner bushing (1) rotatably arranged in an outer bushing (2), and this is arranged in an elastomeric body (3) firmly adhering to the outer bushing. Both bushings have, at least at an axially outer end, axial bearing surfaces (8, 9) at one radially directed flange projection (7, 10) each. The flange projection (10) associated with the outer bushing is axially movably arranged in relation to this outer bushing (2) while an elastomeric intermediate member (11) undergoes elastic deformation.

The elastic sliding bearing for chassis parts in motor vehicles includes of a rigid inner bushing (1) and an outer bushing (2) surrounded by an elastomeric body (3). Both bushings have axial bearing surfaces (5, 6) on radially directed flange projections (4, 7) at an axially outer end, wherein a seal (11) surrounding the axial bearing surfaces (5, 6). The seal acts against the axially outer flange surface with at least one sealing lip (12). A disk (9), which is supported on one side surface by the sliding surface of the flange projection (4) on the inner bushing (1), is loosely inserted between a sliding surface forming the axial bearing surface (5) on the flange projection (4) of the inner bushing (1) and the elastomeric body (3) surrounding the outer bushing (2). In addition, on the surface which is in contact with the disk (9) and forms the axial bearing surface (6), the elastomeric body (3) is provided with recesses ( 10), so that the axial rigidity of the elastomeric body (3) is reduced in the edge zone that is in contact with the disk (9).

The sleeve rubber spring consists of an inner mounting sleeve (1), an outer mounting sleeve (2) surrounding the inner mounting sleeve at a radially spaced location, and a rubber body (3) arranged rigidly adhering between the two mounting sleeves. The rubber body forms at least two chambers (5, 6) are formed, which are filled with damping medium and permanently communicate with each other. An elastically deformable body forms a protective tube (4), into which the inner and outer mounting sleeves (2) are sealingly inserted. An overflow channel (8) with a shut-off device, which opens automatically at a predetermined pressure differential in the two chambers (5, 6) by radial deformation of the protective tube (4), is provided between the chambers (5, 6).

Sleeve rubber spring with hydraulic damping for mountings in motor

A support bearing with fluid damping in a housing which includes two chambers which are of variable volume and filled with a fluid, and are interconnected by a passage with a built-in restrictor valve. The housing includes rubber-elastic inner and outer walls of different degrees of hardness which are fastened to metallic support members. One of the supports is connected with the foundation and the other with the part (engine) to be supported. One chamber surrounds the other chamber circularly and a passage interconnects the chambers. The walls defining the chambers are incorporated in a housing connected to a support member. The elements comprises a rubber-elastic material and are formed in one piece and are firmly connected with the one supporting member, as well as with a support ring, which is advantageously connected with the other supporting member by mechanical means.

Two chamber support bearing with hydraulic damping

A dual-chamber support bed with hydraulic cushioning especially for engine mount in motor vehicles includes a working chamber and a compensating chamber filled with liquid have walls (3, 4) comprising annular rubber diaphragms with a predetermined buckling characteristic to adapt to the operating load the chambers are connected to one another through a nozzle channel. The nozzle channel is defined between profiled parts overlapping one another which are two rigid components of a housing that are adjustable to one another. The channel flow resistance is adjustable by means of a screw-driven regulating unit. An operating member for rotating the spindle extends out of the housing, and can be screwed on it coaxially with the vertical axis.

Fluid cushioning mounting particularly for engines in motor vehicles

A dual-chamber support bed or motor vehicle engine mount with hydraulic cushioning includes a resilient housing part and a support base for use in defining a working chamber and compensating chamber filled with liquid, the housing walls are annular rubber diaphragms with a buckling characteristic that is adjustable to adapt to the operating load. The chambers are connected to one another through a nozzle channel. Means for controlling the buckling characteristics (buckling rigidity) are provided in a wall of the working chamber and in a preferred embodiment include an additional buckling spring that is clamped into the fixed base housing and is adjustable in its buckling behavior from the exterior by a spindle.

Engine mount construction

A hydraulic vibration damper is intended for resilient bearings in motor vehicles and comprises in a housing an inner space which is divided by a partition into a working space above and a lower equalization space, with the two spaces being connected to each other by flow apertures in the partition and their volumes being variable. The partition encloses a horizontal flow channel communicating with the working space and the equalizing space, respectively, through connecting holes which are offset relative to each other. In addition, valve apertures with closing bodies are provided in the partition, which close automatically under increased pressure in the working space.

Hydraulic vibration damper for resilient bearings in motor vehicles

A resilient bearing includes a cushioning member comprising an inner part, an annular element of a resilient material, and an outer part or shell, and a hydraulic damper having an inner space filled with a liquid and being divided by a partition into a working space and an equalizing space. The partition is provided with throttling passages for the liquid flowing therethrough, and the volumes of the separated spaces are variable. The hydraulic damper is accommodated in a housing which is independent of the cushioning member, and comprises a piston which is movable up and down in the working space, thereby varying the volume of the space, and is connected, directly or indirectly, to the inner part of the cushioning member.
