Hand-held electrical shears has a housing with a tool head and a grip part, an electric motor, a drive shaft driven by the electric motor via a transmission, a rotatable tool mounted on the drive shaft, and a rechargeable energy accumulator in the grip part. The transmission and a portion of the electric motor are in the tool head, an actuating element of an on/off switch is on an underside of the grip part, a grip cover is attached to a top side of the grip part. A shaft end section extending laterally out of the housing carries a bearing flange with a driving element for the tool, and a blade retaining plate with a counter-blade and a supporting base are detachably attached in a flattened region of the housing.

Hand-held electrical shears

The invention relates to a hand machine-tool, especially electrical shears, comprising a housing () provided with a tool head () and a grip part (), an electric motor () arranged in the housing (), a switch () for the electric motor (), and a drive shaft () mounted in the tool head (), transversally to the housing axis. The drive shaft can be driven by the electric motor () by means of a transmission (). The hand machine-tool also comprises a rotary tool () that can be fixed to the drive shaft (). The aim of the invention is to create a compact, structurally small and lightweight hand machine-tool for work without generating fatigue. To this end, a small-volume, rechargeable energy accumulator, preferably a lithium ion accumulator (), which feeds the electric motor () and has a high charging capacity, is arranged in the grip part, together with an electronic plate () and the switch. The transmission () and at least part of the electric motor () are arranged in the tool head ().

The invention is based on a case, in particular a power tool case, having a housing () that has at least one housing part () with a storage space () for carrying and/or storage of a power tool (), in particular a manual power tool. It is proposed that the housing () forms at least of a part of a base () to stand on for a stationary operating mode of the power tool ().

A pneumatic tool includes a fluid motor with a rotor and passages for connecting the rotor with a source of fluid under pressure. A normally open valve is interposed in the passages and movable to a closed position in which it interrupts the flow of fluid to the rotor. An actuator is located on the rotor and operative, in response to the rotor exceeding a predetermined speed of revolutions, to move from a neutral into an actuating position in which it engages the valve and moves the same to the closed position thereof.

A sound absorber for intermittent exhaust gas, particularly for use in connection with a compressed air operated motor employed, for example, in a hand grinder. The sound absorber is arranged predominantly in the housing of the motor and includes an exhaust air discharging channel having an alternately varying cross-section to define a succession of continuously alternating narrow and wide passages for changing continuously the direction of flow of the exhaust air about an angle that is always lower than 90.degree. with respect to the axis of the discharge channel so that the ratio of successive minimum and maximum cross-sections of the channel is at most 4:1. The discharge channel is terminated with a nozzle plate defining a plurality of outlet nozzles the central axes of which converge in the direction of flow. The discharge channel further includes at least one dead air space which in the case of a hand grinder is preferably formed by the interior of a hollow handle of the grinder and a portion of the discharge channel is divided by an air guiding partition into two partial conduits of different lengths and each communicating with one group of outlet nozzles.
