Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for delayed blowback mechanisms for use in or with firearms. The delayed blowback mechanism includes a housing having an internal chamber, where the housing comprises a cam pathway. The delayed blowback mechanism also includes a pivoting latch disposed at least partially within the internal chamber, where the pivoting latch is movable, with respect to the housing, along the cam pathway between a first position and a second position.

Disclosed is a linear trigger mechanism for a firearm. In certain examples, the trigger mechanism includes a trigger housing configured to couple with a frame of the firearm. The trigger mechanism also includes a trigger disposed below the trigger housing and slideably coupled with the trigger housing, and a trigger bar having a first end coupled with the trigger and a second end slideably coupled with an ejector housing. The trigger mechanism also includes a sear assembly pivotally coupled with the second end of the trigger bar and configured to engage a firing pin of the firearm.

Disclosed is a base for attaching a scope mounting system to a firearm rail. The base includes a first dovetail slot extending from a first end of the base to a first ring abutment, and a second dovetail slot extending from a second end of the base to a second ring abutment. The base also includes a wedge mechanism coupled to the base and configured to engage side surfaces of a groove formed in the firearm rail. A scope mounting system also is disclosed and includes the base and one or more scope mount rings.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for use in or with firearms. A firearm receiver includes an elongated channel machined or 3D printed from a metallic material, and has a front end and a rear end. The firearm also includes a front trunnion having a rear portion coupled to the front end of the elongated channel and having a front portion configured to couple to a handguard. Also includes is a rear trunnion coupled to the rear end and configured to receive an accessory adapter.

Examples of the present disclosure include a mounting interface with a body and a cam coupled to the body and rotatable about an axis. The mounting interface includes a first locking mechanism in contact with a first arm of the cam and configured to, in response to rotation of the cam in a first rotational direction, move in a first lateral direction and engage with a first end of a first opening of a handguard of a gun. The mounting interface includes a second locking mechanism configured to, in response to rotation of the cam in the first rotational direction, move in a second lateral direction opposite the first lateral direction and engage with at least one of a second end of the first opening opposite to the first end of the opening and an end of a second opening of the handguard.

Accessory mounting interface

An apparatus is disclosed for a firearm suppressor. In certain examples, the firearm suppressor includes an outer cylinder defining a longitudinal axis, and an inner cylinder having an inner chamber, where the inner cylinder is disposed at least partially within the outer tube and defines an outer chamber with the outer cylinder, where the outer chamber is disposed between an inner surface of the outer cylinder and an outer surface of the inner cylinder. The suppressor also includes a reversing baffle disposed at one end of the inner cylinder and configured to reverse a flow of gasses from the inner chamber and direct the gasses into the outer chamber, and at least one reverse flow pathway comprising a reverse section and a forward section, and where the at least one reverse flow pathway fluidly couples the inner chamber with an end cap.

Disclosed is an adjustable, sliding stock, and a rifle to which the stock attaches. The stock includes an elongated receiver extension tube coupled to the rifle, and a housing slidably coupled with the receiver extension tube. The housing is positionable at one of a plurality of locking positions that are disposed along a length of the receiver extension tube. The receiver extension tube defines a longitudinal axis along which the housing is positionable. The housing includes a pair of pivoting levers, each of the pair of pivoting levers being disposed on a lateral side of the housing, and where each of the pivoting levers is coupled to and actuates one of a pair of locking members. Each of the pair of locking members travels along a common axis into and out of locking engagement with the receiver extension tube, and where the common axis is transverse to the longitudinal axis.

Firearm stock

A core of a gun moderator is disclosed and includes an outer portion and an inner portion. The outer portion includes a first opening positioned to receive a projectile from a barrel of the gun, and a first surface facing an exterior of the outer portion and comprising a first number of surface openings and a first number of protrusions. The inner portion is disposed within the outer portion and includes a second opening positioned to receive the projectile, and a second surface facing an exterior of the inner portion and comprising a second number of surface openings a second number of protrusions. The inner portion also includes at least one channel connecting an interior of the inner portion to an opening of the first number of openings.

Air gun moderator and multi-layer moderator core

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a moderator having a housing configured to attach to an air gun. The housing includes a first material configured to yield and/or fracture in response to exposure to at least one of a pressure level resulting from discharging a firearm and/or a temperature resulting from discharging a firearm and a number of openings positioned in proximity to an end of the housing. The moderator also includes a number of plugs. Each plug includes a second material configured to yield and/or fracture in response to exposure to at least one of a pressure level resulting from discharging a firearm and/or a temperature resulting from discharging a firearm. Each opening of the number of openings is configured to receive a plug of the number of plugs.

A firearm suppressor is disclosed. In certain examples, the firearm suppressor includes an elongated core comprising at least one series of ports extending radially from a bore to an exterior surface of the core, where the at least one series of ports is disposed linearly along a longitudinal axis of the core, and where the elongated core comprises at least one annular channel formed in the exterior surface of the core and disposed between adjacent pairs of the ports. The firearm suppressor may also include a baffle sleeve disposed around the core, the baffle sleeve having at least one uninterrupted fluid pathway extending along the exterior surface of the baffle sleeve and formed by interdigitated baffle ridges, and an outer tube disposed around the baffle sleeve.

Disclosed is a linear trigger mechanism for a firearm. In certain examples, the trigger mechanism includes a trigger housing defining a linear pathway and configured to house a trigger, a sear, and a disconnector. The trigger has a top surface, and a sear ramp and a disconnector ramp disposed on the top surface. The trigger is configured to move along the linear pathway that is substantially parallel with a bore axis of the firearm. The trigger mechanism also includes a trigger return compression spring configured to urge the trigger into a default position, and a sear compression spring configured to urge the sear into a default position.

An apparatus is provided for a firearm suppressor. The apparatus includes an outer tube defining a longitudinal axis, and an inner cylinder defining an inner chamber. The inner cylinder is disposed at least partially within the outer tube and defines an outer chamber with the outer tube, where the outer chamber is disposed between an inner surface of the outer tube and an outer surface of the inner cylinder, and where the inner cylinder comprises at least one opening to fluidly couple the inner chamber with the outer chamber. The apparatus also includes at least one flow structure disposed in the outer chamber and positioned to direct firearm combustion gasses in a fluid pathway that is off-axis with respect to the longitudinal axis.

An apparatus for ambidextrous control of a bolt carrier and/or a magazine release is disclosed. In certain examples, the apparatus includes a lower receiver of a firearm including a protrusion extending outward from a first side of the lower receiver, the protrusion. The protrusion, in certain examples, includes a first slot for receiving an L-shaped lever, the L-shaped lever having a vertical arm coupled to a bolt catch lever and a horizontal arm that extends through a trigger area to a second side of the lower receiver that is opposite the first side. In certain examples, the protrusion also includes a second slot for receiving a magazine catch lever.

A muzzle signature management device for a firearm may include a body having a bore through a central axis, a first plurality of linear ports extending generally coaxially with the bore and providing a gas pathway from the bore to the outside surface of the body, a second plurality of linear ports intersecting the first plurality of linear ports and providing a gas pathway from the bore to the outside surface of the body, and a plurality of surface features within the first and second plurality of linear ports configured to affect the discharge gasses exiting from the muzzle of the firearm.
