A removable plug-in connection for high-pressure lines, in particular brake lines in the construction of motor vehicles. The connection includes a cylindrical receiving housing () with a central receiving chamber (), in addition to a tubular plug-in part, which is equipped with a peripheral retaining rib. An insertion side of the receiving housing () has an enlarged receiving chamber () in which several radially guided locking elements () can be retained, the elements being clamped in a direction of the interior by a retaining ring (). The locking elements () include two half-shells () that include retainer wedges () that point inwards, engaging behind the retaining rib () in a positive fit once the plug-in part () has been inserted. Each half-shell () has a projecting centering pin on one end face, the pin constituting an extension of the internal wall and engaging in a corresponding cavity on the opposing end face when the two half-shells () are assembled. Once the half-shells have been retained (), the front edge () of the wall () that surrounds the enlarged receiving chamber (') is bent inwards at an oblique angle to the axis of the receiving housing () until the retaining rib can pass through unhindered and the half-shells () are outwardly displaced when the plug-in part is inserted.

Removable plug-in connection for high-pressure lines

The detachable plug coupling operative to connect fluid lines, particularly fuel lines of motor vehicles. The plug coupling includes a tubular insertion part with an encircling retaining rib and a coupling housing having a cylindrical accommodating space for the insertion part. The plug coupling also has an enlarged head part with a separate retaining element, having elastically opening retaining edges. The retaining edges are radially directed into the accommodating space and engage behind the retaining rib after the insertion part has been pushed in. In order to ensure that the retaining rib is correctly snapped in behind the retaining edges after the insertion part has been inserted, an additional locking element is provided, which is guided in a transversally displaceable manner on the housing head between an opening position and a closing position.

Detachable plug coupling provided with an additional locking element

A tubular coupling element for producing a glued joint with a fluid line and a method for producing such a glued joint. The coupling element includes an inner tube that is insertable into a fluid line and an outer tube that is constructed concentric to the inner tube and integrally connected to the rear end of the inner tube by a connecting wall. An annular gap is present between the two tubes and is designed to receive an end section of the fluid line and a hot-melt type adhesive in a compacted solid form shaped as a ring. A connection between the coupling element and the fluid lines can be easily established by first introducing the adhesive in the annular gap and then melting it by rapidly supplying heat while the end section of the fluid line is pressed into the annular gap of the coupling element.

Tubular coupling element for producing a glued joint with a fluid line

A rotatable stopcock for a plug-type coupling with an angled piece for connecting fluid lines. The stopcock including a turning knob portion and an integrally formed hollow pin portion. The knob portion includes two opposing ring segments having detent catches that positively engage a flange ring formed on the coupling housing wall. The pin portion is dimensioned to be received into a contact hole of the plug-type coupling such that rotating the stopcock after insertion causes the hollow pin portion to regulate the fluid flow through the plug-type coupling.

The releasable plug coupling is used for connecting fluid lines, particularly, fuel lines of motor vehicles. The plug coupling comprises a tubular plug-in part ( ) with an annular retaining lip ( ) as well as a coupling housing ( ) with a cylindrical receiving space ( ) for inserting the plug-in part ( ) and a separate retaining element ( ) with elastic retaining edges ( ) that project radially into the receiving space ( ) and that grip behind the retaining lip ( ) after the plug-in part ( ) is inserted into the receiving space ( ). On the head part ( ) of the coupling housing ( ) there is a protective sleeve ( ) that can move axially and that covers the pressure plates ( ) when the plug-in part ( ) is inserted in order to prevent unintentional release of the coupling. This protective sleeve ( ) is integrally connected by a radial connection ring ( ) to an inner guidance sleeve ( ) that, in turn, is connected at their free inner edge ( ) by two opposing connecting pieces ( ) to a ring ( ). This has the effect that the retaining lip ( ) pushes against the ring ( ) when the plug-in part ( ) is inserted and thus, the protective sleeve ( ) is automatically moved by the retaining ring ( ) over the pressure plate ( ). Between the connection ring ( ) and the front wall ( ) of the housing head ( ), there is a spiral spring ( ) that keeps the protective sleeve ( ) ready for movement.

A detachable coupling includes a housing having wall, an end that has an inner wall, and a receiving space that has an opening in the end. The opening and the receiving space receives a tubular insertion part that has a retaining rib. An indicating part is removably mounted to the end of the receiving housing and includes a support ring and a lever. The lever has a free end and a inner end and is pivotally mounted to the support ring and extends into the receiving space. A support projection is positioned on the inner end of the lever and contacts the inner wall. Insertion of the tubular insertion part causes the retaining rib to contact the free end of the lever and results in the pivoting of the lever. Pivoting of the lever disengages the support projection from the inner wall and dismounts the indicating part from the housing.

Detachable fast-coupling having an automatic assembly indicator

A plug connection with an automatically actuated outlet shut-off includes a cylindrical receptacle housing with an opening for inserting a tubular plug-in part that is provided with a circumferential holding rib which can be engaged in a locking element arranged in the inserting region of the receptacle housing. Ring seals for sealing the annular gap between the inner wall of the receptacle housing and the inserted plug-in part are also arranged in the receptacle housing. A valve body is provided in the flow-through chamber of the receptacle housing, wherein the valve body automatically seals the flow-through chamber and is pressed into the open position away from the end face of the plug-in part against the force of a coil spring when the plug-in part is inserted. The valve body is in the form of a sleeve that is closed by an end wall on its end that faces away from the inserting opening and penetrated by a radial rib. Four axially parallel ribs that are uniformly distributed over the circumference are arranged on the rear side of the end wall, such that the ribs are guided in a longitudinally displaceable fashion in corresponding longitudinal grooves in the inner wall of the receptacle housing.

The invention relates to a detachable plug-and-socket connector for high pressure lines, particularly for brake lines in the manufacture of motor vehicles, where the plug-and-socket connector must have an especially high retaining force. The connector includes a plug-in part that has an annular retaining flange on its insertion side and is provided with a circular recess into which the end of a brake line tube can be pressed by deformable expansion of the tube wall and that the retaining spring is provided with a simple central clamping ring which can be slipped over the tubular connecting piece of the plug-in part immediately next to the retaining flange.

Releasable plug-in connector for high pressure lines

A connection unit of a releasable quick coupling that includes a cylindrical housing head, connecting sleeve, support sleeve and a ceiling ring. The cylindrical housing head defines a receiving space and includes a retaining element having movable edges that are directed into the receiving space. A tubular inserting part having a encircling retaining rib is insertable into the receiving space such that the retaining rib is engaged by the retaining element. The connecting sleeve is molded an end of the housing head and is adapted to be inserted into the end of the pipeline. The body of the connecting sleeve and detents of the housing head form a mounting space that is adapted to receive and secure an edge of the pipeline. Additionally, a support sleeve is mounted on the connecting sleeve at a second end opposite said housing head. Finally, a sealing ring is disposed within the support sleeve.

Detachable rapid-action coupling device

A releasable plug-in connector having a tubular plug-in part with a peripheral retaining rib, a housing having a cylindrical receiving space having a central axis for receiving the plug-in part and at least one opening in a side wall of the housing communicating with said receiving space and a separate retaining ring of a hard, resilient plastic material and having radially inwardly directed, elastically sprung retaining edges for engaging behind the retaining rib of the plug-in part after the plug-in part has been inserted into the receiving space of the housing to lock the plug-in part in the housing. The retaining ring is insertable through the opening in the housing and into the receiving space so that the ring is retained against axial movement by the housing while the retaining edges are concentric with the axis of the receiving space, the retaining edges being able to be pushed apart in a radial, direction to release the plug-in part by pressing in on the ring through the opening. The improvement comprises a protective cap that can be installed over the outer side of the housing, the protective cap having a protective ring that extends around the housing and covers, at least partially, the opening in the side wall of the housing in a protective position and spring means for holding the ring in the position while permitting the ring to be pushed aside to expose the opening and permit pressing in of the retaining ring to release the plug-in part.

A releasable plug-in connector for receiving a tubular plug-in part having a peripheral retaining rib. The plug-in connector consists of a housing having a cylindrical receiving space for receiving the plug-in part, and a separate securing ring made from a hard/resilient plastic material. The ring has retaining edges directed inwardly in the form of an arc of a circle that are pushed apart as the plug-in part is pushed into the connector and that then spring back elastically and engage behind the retaining rib after the plug-in part has been pushed in to lock the part in the connector. The retaining edges are connected to one another at their ends by a pair of V-shaped spring webs that are accessible from the outside of the housing so that they can be pushed into an unlocked position permitting the part to be pulled out of the connector.

A fastening device for detachably fitting protective covers on upholstered foam material, such as seat cushions, seat backs or mattresses, by means of upholstery buttons which can be attached to the fastening device in the manner of snap fasteners. The fastening device consists of a connecting tape (1) on both ends of which are molded attached end pieces (2, 3) which have spherical heads (4) and (5) onto which the upholstery buttons can be pressed. One attached end piece (2) has on the side facing the tape a cylindrical stem (12) and on the stem, at a short distance from the head, is a stop plate (6) for holding the attached end piece (2) against one side of the foam. The other attached end piece has on its side facing the tape, a stem (12) on which is located, at a short distance from its head (5), a smaller support plate (7) whose diameter corresponds approximately to the diameter of the spherical head (5). This plate serves as support for an anchor plate (8 ) that bears against the other side of the foam after the end piece (3) has been pulled through the foam object.

Fastening device for foam upholstering

An anchoring plug made from a hard-elastic plastic material having a closed shank part 1 and two mutually opposite spreading fingers 2 and 3. A screw hole 10, extends through the shank part 1 down into a central space 12 between the spreading fingers for receipt of a screw 18. To be able to drive the plug directly into gypsum board without having to first drill a hole, one spreading finger 2 is longer than the other spreading finger and has a hook-shaped tip 4 forming a recess 5 at its free end. Initially the end of the shorter spreading finger 3 nests in this recess to provide a pointed end to the plug, but springs free of the recess when a screw is screwed into the plug.

Anchoring plug

A holder for holding a cable or hose passing through an opening in a wall in sealed manner including a cylindrical receiving body part made of a flexible elastic material and an annular holding body part made of an inflexible plastic material. The receiving body part has a front end and a rear end with an axially extending opening therein for receiving the cable or hose and a locking edge extending circumferentially around its outer peripheral surface. The annular holding body part has a front end and a rear end with an opening extending between its ends sized to axially receive the receiving body part. Locking tabs are provided on the front end of the holding body part for anchoring it in the opening in the wall and inwardly extending radial locking noses are provided on the rear end of the holding body part for engagement with locking edge on the receiving body part, whereby when the front end of the receiving body part is inserted into the rear end of the holding body part the two parts are axially locked.
