The production of sealing units, and especially of face plates for hearing devices and other hearing apparatuses, is to be further automated. A sealing unit for sealing a shell of a hearing apparatus that can be worn in the auditory canal is accordingly proposed, with a face plate having a battery opening for holding a battery, with battery contacts, to which at least one signal processing module is connected, being arranged in or on the battery opening. A mount is removably affixed in or on the battery opening in order to hold the at least one signal processing module in or perpendicularly above/below the battery opening. The mount thus serves not only to retain the signal processing components during transport, but also to affix them into the face plate for example during milling of positioning holes for microphones.

For reducing the influence of interference fields on hearing aids, a hearing aid is provided with an electronic component into which a first and a second electromagnetic disturbance component can be injected by providing a predetermined electromagnetic interference field. The electrical component is formed asymmetric and/or a compensation component is arranged on the electrical component such that the first and the second interference components largely compensate for one another. A compensation plate or an element which is provided in any case, such as a microphone, may be used as the compensation component. If the electrical component is a coil, then its core may, for example, be conical or configured such that its winding density varies.

For enabling fast, customer-specific and precise matching of a hearing device's directional characteristic, a hearing device having a signal processing unit for performing a processing algorithm is provided, with at least one design-related parameter of the hearing device having been made available to the signal processing unit and with the signal processing unit performing the processing algorithm based on the design-related parameter of the hearing device. It should be considered as especially advantageous in the case of the inventive hearing device that a processing algorithm can be performed particularly precisely and customer-specifically based on the provided design-related parameters of the hearing device.

A shielding element and a decoupling element are integrated into a combined attenuation element. The shielding element may be a shielding foil, preferably made of copper. The attenuation element may include a flexible backing foil, preferably a plastic backing foil which supports the shielding foil. It may also include an adhesive layer with which the electronic component is affixed to a housing. The physical properties of all elements of the attenuation element are attuned to one another such that it simultaneously attenuates both electromagnetic alternating fields as well as mechanical oscillations.

A faceplate of a hearing device housing with a component fitted in an opening of the faceplate and an associated method are provided. The faceplate is formed from a first material. When a predefinable distance between the support surface of the components in the opening and the surface facing away from the exterior of the faceplate is not reached, a second material is applied below the support surface to the surface of the faceplate such that the predefinable distance is produced. As a result, even with fitted components, for instance the volume controller or program selection switch, the mechanical stability of the faceplate is ensured.

The influence of interference from power supply lines in hearing devices is to be reduced. Thus a hearing device with an antenna for receiving and/or sending inductive signals, a signal processing device, to which the antenna is connected, a power supply unit for supplying power to the signal processing device and an electrical conductor for electrical connection of the power supply unit to the signal processing device is provided. The electrical conductor is L-shaped or U-shaped and closely follows the contours of the power supply unit. In addition the electrical conductor forms a part of an essentially round or rectangular ring, the axis of which has a main directional component perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the antenna. A magnetic field created by the conductor is thus perpendicular to the antenna, so that its magnetic interference influence is reduced.

The manufacture of housing parts of a hearing apparatus and in particular a hearing device is to be simplified. To this end, provision is made to also efficiently use a so-called tumbling process for the surface treatment of housing. On account of this, a closure element is proposed for closing openings of housing parts for a hearing apparatus of this type during a tumbling process. The closure element has a disk-like center part, a first column section, which protrudes from the one side of the disk-like center part and has a first swelling on its free end, and a second column section, which protrudes from the other side of the disk-like center part and has a second swelling on its free end. A closure element of this type allows openings of housing parts, which are attached to the column sections, to be closed and protected for a tumbling process.
