A power pack for use with a medicament delivery device is presented having a plunger rod movable along a longitudinal axis; a drive spring operably connected to said plunger rod; a plunger rod sleeve arranged with holding elements for releasably holding said plunger rod with said drive spring in a tensioned state. Signal initiating elements are arranged to said plunger rod; and signal generating elements arranged to cooperate with said signal initiating elements for providing information to a user of a medicament delivery device about the movement of said plunger rod when said plunger rod sleeve has been activated to release said holding elements.

Drive assembly for a medicament delivery device

An administration assembly for a medicament delivery device is presented having a plunger rod, a plunger rod holder and an activation sleeve configured to receive a portion of the plunger rod holder. The triggering member is configured to move the activation sleeve from a first position to a second position relative to the plunger rod holder. The plunger rod is configured to be axially locked relative to the plunger rod holder when the activation sleeve is in the first position. The plunger rod is released from being axially locked when the activation sleeve is moved towards the second position.

Administration assembly for a medicament delivery device and a medicament delivery device comprising the same

A drive unit for a medicament delivery device is presented having an elongated plunger rod extending in a longitudinal direction, a drive force element capable of applying a drive force on the elongated plunger rod, and an actuator operably connected to the elongated plunger rod for releasably holding the elongated plunger rod in an energized state when the drive force element is exerting a drive force on the elongated plunger rod. An activator is operably connected to the actuator for releasably holding the actuator in a holding position where the actuator is designed to be movable from the holding position in a direction generally transversal to the longitudinal direction upon a displacement of the activator for releasing the plunger rod.

Drive unit for a medicament delivery device

A medicament delivery device is presented having a medicament container having an attached medicament delivery member; a housing where the medicament container is movable between a retracted and an extended position in which the medicament delivery member extends from the housing; a drive unit that advances the medicament container from its retracted position to its extended position to expel the contents through the medicament delivery member; and a medicament container holder for carrying the medicament container as it is advanced, the medicament container holder having a proximal end through which the medicament delivery member extends and a holding member releasably connected to the drive unit and attached to the medicament container holder. The holding member has a biasing element having a resilient structure in the form of a tubular wall provided with slots extending in the generally circumferential direction arranged to bias the medicament container in the proximal direction in the medicament container holder.

A transport assembly for shipping components of a medicament delivery device to final assembly is presented, where the transport assembly has a plunger rod, a first resilient member configured to bias the plunger rod, an elongated plunger rod holder configured to receive the plunger rod, a transport securing sleeve configured to receive a portion of the plunger rod holder, and configured to move axially from a first position relative to the plunger rod holder in which the transport securing sleeve prevents the plunger rod holder to disengage from the plunger rod to a second position located distally relative to the first position, enabling disengagement of the plunger rod holder from the plunger rod, a rear end cap, and a second resilient member configured to bear against the rear end cap and configured to bias the transport securing sleeve in the proximal direction away from the second position.

Transport assembly for a medicament delivery device and a medicament delivery device comprising the same

An administration assembly is presented having a plunger rod, a first resilient member biasing the plunger rod, an elongated plunger rod holder configured to receive the plunger rod, an activation sleeve receiving a portion of the plunger rod holder, and configured to move axially from a first position relative to the plunger rod holder to a second position. The activation sleeve is biased towards the first position and the plunger rod holder has a first and second hold and release structure, wherein in the first position the activation sleeve is configured to maintain the first hold and release structure in an axially locking contact position with the second hold and release structure in which the second hold and release structure is prevented from movement relative to the first hold and release structure, thereby locking the plunger rod axially relative to the plunger rod holder.
