A highly portable system includes the necessary logic and analysis to provide immediate feedback and corrective instruction for any suitable motion. In particular, the system includes a capability for tracking individual shooter performance in a more comprehensive way, in order to provide an organized and methodical feedback to the shooter for the purpose of data-supported improvement, as well as the opportunity to improve marksmanship using dry-fire techniques, when a shooting range is unavailable and/or to reduce ammunition consumption.

Motion tracking, analysis and feedback systems and methods for performance training applications

A connection system for a portable electronic device may allow for modular components to be coupled together. A primary module may comprise computing components, such as a processor, hard drive, wireless chip, battery, etc. Various secondary modules may be removably coupled to the primary module, such as batteries, charging stations, storage units, LTE hotspot devices, cover plates, cameras, virtual reality units, speakers, video screens, user interfaces, etc. The secondary modules may comprise connection posts which mate with receiving slots in the primary module to couple the primary and secondary components together.

Portable electronic device connection systems

A complete closed-loop system of capture, analysis, and corrective feedback uses small unobtrusive, strategically placed sensors on the ear, hip, knee, wrist, and/or ankle that communicate wirelessly to a base unit. The sensors capture movement during an activity to be analyzed, such as a golf swing, and send data to a base unit, which processes and transmits the data to a smart phone or other suitable portable and wireless communications device. The wireless communications device, in turn, transmits the processed data to a data base in the cloud (centrally based Internet software) where software instantly analyzes the motion represented by the processed data, then provides immediate feedback for improvement to the user.
