A method may include monitoring, by an information handing system, a task assigned to be completed by a user; determining, by the information handling system, completion of the task by the user based, at least in part, on a physical location tracking of the user, wherein the physical location tracking of the user comprises: monitoring, by the information handling system, a controller; and comparing, by the information handling system, monitored controller movements to a known map stored on the information handling system; and granting, by the information handling system, a reward to the user. Systems and methods described herein may reconfigure a virtual workspace displayed to a user based on monitored contextual information pertaining to the virtual workspace. The system may reconfigure the virtual workspace by determining, based on the contextual information, a set of probability values associated with configuration settings that affect the virtual workspace, comparing the probability values to activation and deactivation probability thresholds, and activating or deactivating configuration settings based on the comparisons between the probability values and probability thresholds. Configuration settings may control whether particular applications are opened and displayed on the virtual workspace. By reconfiguring the virtual workspace based on contextual information, the system may provide a seamlessly focused application interaction experience for a user from one contextual environment to the next on a single device.

An information handling system may receive a first input indication from a first control stick of a handheld controller, wherein the first input indication indicates that the first control stick is in a first position, receive a second input indication from a first button of the handheld controller, wherein the second input indication indicates that the first button is pressed while the first control stick is in the first position, and determine that the first input indication corresponds to a first character in response to receipt of the first input indication. This disclosure describes systems, devices, apparatuses, and methods of retracting or extending a button, such as a depressible button, pad, joystick, trigger, or bumper. The button can include a movable structure with magnets at two positions and a coil that can be energized to create a magnetic field. The button can be configured to retract when a current is applied to the coil, and to extend when a different current is applied to the coil. The button can include a magnetic core that can latch to a magnet when the button is retracted and that can latch to a different magnet when the button is extended. In some configurations, the button is configured to retract or extend relative to a printed circuit board, a housing, or both.

In an aspect, an apparatus includes a trackball, a wheel coupled to the trackball and configured to rotate about an axis, and a brake system configured to apply a braking force to the wheel. In some aspects, the brake system includes a magnetorheological fluid (MRF) brake, such as an MRF rotational brake. The MRF brake may be configured to apply a braking force to the wheel.

In particular configurations, the device includes a joystick configured to rotate about a first axis and a second axis and a first resistance mechanism coupled to the joystick.
