Devices and methods for securing a cover of a retrieval device while the retrieval device is resheathed to a more proximal position within a delivery sheath are disclosed herein. A retrieval device may include, for example, a securing element configured to grip the cover when the retrieval device is pulled proximally, to thereby secure the cover. A method of positioning the retrieval device may include, for example: (a) advancing the retrieval device distally through a delivery sheath to a partially deployed state while the securing element is in a first state, and (b) retracting the clot retrieval proximally from the partially deployed state while the securing element is in a second state that grips the cover to secure the cover.

Securing element for resheathing an intravascular device and associated systems and methods

A device for intravascular intervention can comprise an interventional element, an elongate manipulation member having a retention portion, and a joining element. The elongate element can comprise a distally located attachment portion. The interventional element includes a proximal end portion with a hole therethrough, the attachment portion of the elongate member extending through the hole at the bend such that first and second segments of the elongate member each extend proximally from the hole. A retention portion includes an arm extends proximally of the hole and a shoulder protruding radially outwardly from a proximal portion of the arm. A joining element circumferentially surrounds at least a portion of the retention portion and at least a portion of the first and second segments of the elongate member such that a proximal end of the joining element is positioned distal to the shoulder of the retention portion.

Connection of intravascular interventional elements and elongate manipulation members

Devices for removing clot material from a blood vessel lumen and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure having a proximal portion and a distal portion, and a cover having a first portion coupled to the elongated shaft and a second portion extending from the first portion. The cover may have an inverted configuration in which the capture structure is at least partially ensheathed within the first portion of the cover and the second portion of the cover extends distally from the first portion. In the inverted configuration, the second portion may have (a) a first region distal to a distal terminus of the capture structure, the first region tapering radially inwardly in a distal direction, and (b) a second region extending distally and radially outwardly from the first region.

Retrieval of material from vessel lumens

Treatment of aneurysms can be improved by delivering an occlusive member (e.g., an expandable braid) to an aneurysm sac in conjunction with an embolic element (e.g., coils, embolic material). A delivery system for such treatment can include an occlusive member configured to be positioned within an aneurysm sac and having a proximal hub. An elongate tubular member has an engagement member removably coupled to the proximal hub, for example via threaded engagement or an interference fit via one or more engagement members. A conduit extending within or adjacent to the elongated member is configured to receive an embolic element therethrough for delivery to the aneurysm sac.

Systems and methods for treating aneurysms

An aneurysm treatment system can include an occlusive member configured to be positioned within an aneurysm sac, and a distal conduit coupled to the occlusive member and having a first lumen extending therethrough. A proximal conduit has a second lumen extending therethrough and is positioned adjacent the distal conduit so that the first lumen is in fluid communication with the second lumen. A coupler extends between the distal conduit and the proximal conduit. The coupler may be ruptured to permit the proximal conduit and the distal conduit to be separated from one another.

A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure, a cover, and a connector coupled to the distal zone of elongated shaft. The connector may include an inner band and an outer band. The inner band may at least partially surround the distal zone of the elongated shaft and a portion of the proximal region of the capture structure, and the outer band may at least partially surround the inner band. In some embodiments, the first end portion of the cover may be secured between the inner band and the outer band.

A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure, a cover, and a connector coupled to the elongated shaft proximal of the capture structure. The connector may include an inner band and an outer band, wherein (a) the inner band at least partially surrounds a portion of the distal zone of the elongated shaft, (b) the outer band at least partially surrounds the inner band, and (c) the first portion of the cover is secured between the inner band and the outer band.

Devices for removing clot material from a blood vessel lumen and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated member, a cover having proximal, intermediate, and distal portions. The cover may be slideably coupled to the distal region of the elongated member at a connector. The cover may have an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer may have (a) a first cross-sectional dimension at the proximal portion of the cover, (b) a distally increasing cross-sectional dimension along the intermediate portion of the cover, and (c) a second cross-sectional dimension at the distal portion of the cover, wherein the second cross-sectional dimension is greater than the first cross-sectional dimension. The outer layer may have a cross-sectional dimension that is generally constant along the distal portion and the intermediate portion of the cover.

Devices for removing clot material from a blood vessel lumen and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure having a proximal region coupled to the distal zone of the elongated shaft, a cover, and a connector coupling the cover to the distal zone of the elongated shaft. The device may further include a jacket at least partially over the proximal terminus of the connector and a portion of the filaments protruding from the connector.
