The disclosure relates to a nasal cannula comprising a port configured for delivery of a medicament into a flow of a fluid being delivered by the nasal cannula to a user and/or configured for interfacing with a medicament delivery device or an instrument. The disclosure also relates to a nasal cannula comprising an asymmetric profile to reduce an amount of occlusion of one nare of a user to provide access for an instrument to the nare with the nasal cannula in use.

The assembly comprises: The conduit and the valve flap selectively provide an inspiratory flow path from the second flow port of the conduit to the first flow port of the conduit; and an expiratory flow path from the first flow port of the conduit to the supplementary flow port via the first valve port. A supplementary gas flow path is provided between the first and/or second flow ports and the supplementary flow port via a supplementary valve port.

A customizable mask including a conforming seal is configured to utilize the physical process of granular jamming to enable it to adapt to a wide range of facial geometries. The mask may include a frame having a perimeter and a conduit connection, a conforming seal positioned along the perimeter of the frame. The conforming seal may include a sealing surface and a connecting surface, the connecting surface configured to mate with the perimeter of the frame, and the sealing surface configured to conform to a users' face. The conforming seal may further include an outer casing, granular material contained within the outer casing, and a vacuum connection. The mask may also include a similarly configured conforming frame. Further disclosed are methods of forming such masks.

Customizable respiratory mask

Respiratory equipment packaging and insert for a respiratory interface assembly having a respiratory interface and headgear. The packaging includes a first pocket having a first opening, and being configured to enclose and sealing retain at least the respiratory interface and the headgear of the respiratory assembly, and a second pocket, adjacent the first pocket and having a second opening. The second pocket is configured to receive an auxiliary device intended for use with, or comprising part of, the respiratory interface assembly, such as a mask size measuring device. A neonatal resuscitation mask that achieves an effective seal with a patient's face with minimal application forces. The mask can include a cushion that forms a sealing surface with a patient's face that is made from a soft gel material. The cushion can also include a restriction ring that is capable of limiting radial expansion and collapse of the cushion, when application forces are applied.
