A method, system, and computer program product for raising an alert when some subject process is impacted by performance degradation of a software application are disclosed. The real word process may be modeled and executed on a computing device. Service dependencies in the modeled process are correlated to services provided by a managed application. An APM system monitors the managed application to determine when the services it provides may have some degradation. When a degradation of performance of the managed application is determined, a modeled process that has a service dependency that correlates to the degraded performance is determined. Then, an alert is generated to indicate that the process being modeled may be comprised. Therefore, instead of simply reporting that the managed application has some degradation, the alert provides a warning that some broader process outside of the managed application may be compromised.

Alerting based on service dependencies of modeled processes

A method includes receiving sensor data from a sensor. The sensor data includes location data, and an image of a viewing area. The method also includes determining markers in the viewing area based on the sensor data. The markers indicate Configuration Items ('CI's') within the viewing area. The method further includes determining a coordinate system of the viewing area utilizing the sensor data. The method still further includes receiving CI data corresponding to the CI's within the viewing area. The method even further includes formatting for display the CI data. The formatting includes generating a visual representation based on the CI data. The formatting also includes projecting the visual representation onto the coordinate system in an augmentation pane based on coordinates of the markers. The formatting further includes overlaying the viewing area with the augmentation pane.

A digital paper-enabled product includes digital paper with a digital pattern that spatially cooperates with one or more features or boundaries printed on the pattern. More specifically, a system cooperating with the product may include spatial information systems that manage the features or boundaries and communicates with a writing instrument that was used to effect changes to the digital paper-enabled product. In one embodiment, the digital paper-enabled product may take the form of a sheet of digital paper bearing a digital pattern and where action icons (e.g. user intended actions) and/or features (e.g. such as map features) or a spatial reference frame are printed onto the digital pattern and where at least one action palette is printed onto the digital pattern, correlated therewith, and usable to effect changes to the product. Other embodiments include a method of making the digital-enabled product, a method of processing information obtained from the digital paper-enabled product, and a method of using the digital paper-enabled product.

Systems and methods for print coating de-saturation. An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and system for controlling the output of a printer. When content is transmitted to a printer to be printed on a surface with a location-encoding pattern, the pattern is generally printed in a material different from the content material. By way of example, the content is generally transmitted in the CMYK color spectrum. The Key or black value is translated into the CMY values resulting in the K or black value being zero. The system and method alter the C, M, and Y values of the content such that it is ensured that no conversion occurs which would cause the Key color to be used in printing the content. The adjusted output is then sent to the printer.
