A confectionery method includes dissolving at least one active ingredient in a volatile vehicle to form a solution, applying the solution to a substrate and evaporating the volatile vehicle to leave the at least one active ingredient applied to the substrate. A confection includes an edible substrate and at least one active ingredient provided to the edible substrate.

A suspension chair includes a first and second back support portion having first and second suspension elements extending in first and second substantially perpendicular directions respectively. The first and second suspension elements are tensioned so as to provide first and second normal biasing forces to the first and second body support portions. In one embodiment, the chair includes a fixed support defining an upper portion and a pivotable side support. A fabric layer covers at least a portion of the fixed support and a front surface of the side support. Various furniture arrangements and modular furniture kits incorporating one or more chairs, desks and/or tables are provided.

The present invention provides compositions and methods for enhancing transport of biologically active compounds across biological membranes and across and into animal epithelial or endothelial tissues. The composition includes a biologically active agent and a transport moiety. The transport moiety includes a structure selected from the group consisting of (ZYZ)Z, (ZY)Z, (ZYY)Z and (ZYYY)Z. Subunit 'Z' is L-arginine or D-arginine, and subunit 'Y' is an amino acid that does not comprise an amidino or guanidino moiety. Subscript &#x201c;n&#x201d; is an integer ranging from 2 to 10. The method for enhancing transport involves the administration of the aforementioned composition.
