An example method of cycling electric stimulation includes delivering, via an implantable device, electric stimulation to a patient in accordance with a first therapy program; monitoring, via the implantable device and while the electric stimulation is being delivered in accordance with the first therapy program, a biomarker; and responsive to determining the biomarker satisfies a threshold, delivering, via the implantable device, electric stimulation to the patient in accordance with a second therapy program that is different than the first therapy program.

Methods, systems, and devices for implantable node are described. The method may include storing, at an implantable stimulation node, a set of stimulation profiles in a memory during a configuration phase. The method may also include receiving a stimulation command corresponding to a stimulation profile of the set of stimulation profiles during a treatment phase. The method may further include delivering stimulation based at least in part on the stimulation profile corresponding to the received stimulation command. In some cases, the system may include an implantable hub, an implantable sensing node, and a sensing device.

A medical system for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) treatment includes therapy delivery circuitry configured to output one or more electrical stimulation signals to a tongue of a patient; sensing circuitry configured to sense one or more compound muscle action potential (CMAP) signals, wherein the one or more CMAP signals are generated in response to the delivery of the one or more electrical stimulation signals; and processing circuitry configured to: cause the therapy delivery circuitry to output the one or more electrical stimulation signals to the tongue; receive information indicative of the one or more CMAP signals from the sensing circuitry; determine, based on the one or more CMAP signals, one or more therapeutic stimulation parameters for the OSA treatment; and cause the therapy delivery circuitry to deliver therapeutic electrical stimulation signals according to at least the determined one or more therapeutic stimulation parameters.

Devices, systems, and techniques for controlling electrical stimulation therapy are described. In one example, a system may be configured to deliver electrical stimulation therapy to a patient, the electrical stimulation therapy comprising a plurality of therapy pulses at a predetermined pulse frequency over a period of time and deliver, over the period of time, a plurality of control pulses interleaved with at least some therapy pulses of the plurality of therapy pulses. The system may also be configured to sense, after one or more control pulses and prior to an immediately subsequent therapy pulse of the plurality of therapy pulses, a respective evoked compound action potential (ECAP), adjust, based on at least one respective ECAP, one or more parameter values that at least partially defines the plurality of therapy pulses, and deliver the electrical stimulation therapy to the patient according to the adjusted one or more parameter values.

An implantable medical device (IMD) includes a drug reservoir located within a reservoir chamber of the IMD that includes a first side and a second side directly opposite the first side defining a reservoir volume there between. The IMD further includes and a volume sensor system including an ultrasound transmitter within the reservoir chamber and positioned to transmit an ultrasound signal toward the second side at an angle relative to the second side and a plurality of ultrasound sensors adjacent to at least one of the first side or second side of the drug reservoir with each sensor positioned to selectively receive the signal from the transmitter at different reservoir volume levels to indicate a current volume capacity of the drug reservoir.

An implantable medical device (IMD) including a housing defining a propellant chamber, a drug reservoir located within the propellant chamber of the housing configured to receive a therapeutic fluid, a propellant gas within the propellant chamber; and a volume measurement system that includes a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the propellant gas within in the propellant chamber and a pressure sensor configured to measure a pressure of the propellant gas within the propellant chamber. The volume measurement system is configured to measure the pressure and the temperature of the propellant gas to provide current volume information of the therapeutic fluid in the drug reservoir.

In general, techniques, methods, systems, and devices for delivering high frequency neurostimulation to control one or more pelvic disorders are described. In one example, a method includes identifying, by a medical device configured to be at least partially implanted in a patient, an indication to inhibit bladder activity. The medical device generates, in response to identifying the indication, electrical stimulation therapy comprising first electrical stimulation pulses comprising a first frequency greater than or equal to about 500 Hertz and less than or equal to about 5,000 Hertz. Further, the medical device delivers the electrical stimulation therapy to a target nerve selected from a group consisting of: a sacral nerve, a pelvic nerve, a tibial nerve, and a pudendal nerve of the patient.

In one example, a method includes transitioning, responsive to determining that a charging coil of wireless charger is in proximity of an implantable medical device (IMD) and by the IMD, from operating in a non-pairing mode into a pairing mode of a far-field wireless communication protocol. In this example, operating in the paring mode comprises: receiving, by the IMD and via a transceiver of the far-field wireless communication protocol, a public encryption key from another device that is different than the wireless charger; and determining, based on the public encryption key of the other device and a public encryption key of the IMD, a link encryption key for future communication between the IMD and the other device. In this example, the method further includes communicating, by the IMD and based on the link encryption key, with the other device via the far-field wireless communication protocol.

Reservoir volume of implantable infusion devices may be determined using a volume sensor that provides a signal representative of a distance between the volume sensor and a movable wall of the reservoir. The volume sensor may be a light-based or sound-based sensor, and may be located outside of the reservoir.
