An end plug to be inserted axially into the centre of an end of a roll of paper, includes a holding element adapted to hold and/or guide the end of the roll of paper in correct position in a dispenser. The end plug includes an outer sleeve having an outer end and an inner end and the holding element is connected to the sleeve by elements allowing the holding element to be axially moved from a first position to a second position, in which the holding element protrude outwardly from the outer end of the sleeve, the holding element being releasably held in the first position when moved thereto. A roll of tissue paper including such an end plug and a dispenser provided with such a roll are also disclosed.

End plug for a paper roll

A dispenser includes: a housing having a support axis for accommodating and rotatably supporting the paper roll, a brake shoe having a contact surface configured to abut at a face side of the paper roll and movably attached relative to the housing for adjustment of a braking force, and an elastic member urging the brake shoe in a direction toward the face side of the paper roll and having an adjustable elastic force that adjusts the braking force. The contact surface may have at least a first contact area closer to a tip of the support axis in an axial direction of the support axis and further away from the support axis in a radial direction and a second contact area further away from the tip of the support axis in the axial direction and closer to the support axis in the radial direction to provide a braking force decreasing with a decreasing diameter of the roll.

Dispenser for dispensing a paper roll

Dispenser includes housing for at least two rolls of tissue paper, access opening in housing, and closure selectively closing a portion of access opening. Closure includes body, first wall movably connected to body at first edge of first wall; and second wall movably connected to body at first edge of second wall. First and second wall are urged toward each other to respectively position second edges of first and second walls opposite to first edges in a blocking position in which sliding of closure into first or second position is blocked until a predetermined amount of paper of second or first roll, respectively, has been dispensed. Closure includes first and second spring urging first and second walls, respectively, toward each other, spring force of first and second springs being configured to automatically return closure into first or second position, respectively, when sliding of the closure into first or second position, respectively, is blocked.

Dispenser for rolls

A dispensing unit and a dispenser are provided. The dispenser is adapted for the use with continuous web material. The dispensing unit includes a first roller arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second roller arranged to rotate about a second axis. A web path is provided through the dispensing unit and a portion of the web path consists of a web passage defined between the first roller and the second roller. A drive mechanism engages with at least one of the first roller and the second roller for feeding web material through the web passage. The drive mechanism comprises a feeding ring rotatably suspended in the dispensing unit. The feeding ring extends around the web path.

Dispensing unit and dispenser

A dispensing unit and a dispenser are provided. The dispensing unit is adapted for use with continuous web material. The dispensing unit comprises a first roller arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second roller arranged to rotate about a second axis. A web path is provided through the dispensing unit and a portion of the web path includes a web passage defined between the first roller and the second roller. The first roller is displaceable between at least a first position and a second position, wherein a first distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the first position, and a second distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the second position.

A retention mechanism in a dispenser for retaining an exchangeable roll of material, the retention mechanism includes a housing including a front wall. An insertion slot for a bearing pin of an end plug of the exchangeable roll extends along the front wall. A cam lock is arranged in the housing so as to be rotatable in a plane which is parallel to the front wall and to the direction of extension of the insertion slot. The cam lock includes a retaining member which is movable between an open position and a locked position by rotating the cam lock. When the retaining member is in the open position, the bearing pin can be inserted into the insertion slot, and when the retaining member is in the closed position, the bearing pin is retained in a locking section of the insertion slot.

Retention mechanism in a dispenser for retaining an exchangeable roll of material, retention system, dispenser, and method for inserting a roll of material into such a retention mechanism

An object of the present disclosure is to provide an apparatus for dispensing absorbent sheet material from a roll. The apparatus includes a roll holder for rotatably supporting said roll, and a roll fill level indicator arrangement. The roll fill level indicator arrangement includes a pivoting arm and a moveable first indicator device. The pivoting arm includes roll engagement device for engagement with an outer peripheral surface of said roll. A position of said first indicator device is continuously responsive to an angular position of said pivoting arm, such that said roll fill level indicator arrangement is able to provide a gradual roll fill level indication.

Apparatus for dispensing absorbent sheet material from a roll

A dispensing mechanism for a liquid container is arranged in liquid communication with an outlet mechanism. The dispensing mechanism is adapted to translate a user force applied to a user operated portion into a transfer force applied from a user lever to an actuation part. A relationship between a first length and a second length forms a lever ratio. The first length extends from a first pivot axis to a user operated portion and the second length extends from the first pivot axis to a point of action of the transfer force on the actuation part. The lever ratio is adapted to increase from a non-actuated position over at least the first 50% of a dispensing stroke of the actuation part such that the transfer force increases over the at least first 50% of the dispensing stroke when a constant force is applied to the user operated portion.

Dispensing mechanism and a dispenser

A device dispenser for a roll of absorbent paper, tissue or nonwoven material is provided. The dispenser has a housing with a first wall provided with a dispensing opening and a movable housing portion, which movable housing portion in an open position allows the dispenser to be refilled. The dispenser has a suspension arrangement for the roll and in which the roll is rotatable. The suspension arrangement is arranged to bias the roll towards the dispensing opening in a dispensing position when the movable housing portion is in a closed position. The suspension arrangement is connected to a pull-back mechanism linked to the movable housing portion for repositioning the suspension arrangement into a refilling position at a distance from the dispensing position when the movable housing portion is moved from the closed position to the open position.

Dispenser for a roll of absorbent paper tissue or nonwoven material

A dispenser for web of absorbent paper, tissue or nonwoven material is provided. The dispenser has a housing with a holder arrangement for receiving the roll, the holder arrangement providing a roll rotational axis about which the roll is arranged to rotate when dispensing the web. The dispenser has a drive roller extending in a direction substantially parallel to the roll rotational axis. The dispenser has an engaging roller extending substantially parallel to the drive roller. The drive roller and the engaging roller are arranged so as to define a dispensing passage therebetween for the web. The roll of web is arranged to be biased against the drive roller. The drive roller is arranged such that a dispensing end of the web is adapted to be led from the roll over the drive roller through the dispensing passage and to frictionally engage with the drive roller and the engaging roller.

Dispenser for roll of absorbent paper tissue or nonwoven material

A dispensing mechanism for a liquid container includes a hollow flexible dispensing portion and a dispenser. The dispensing mechanism includes a first lever arranged to pivot about a first pivot axis and a second lever arranged to pivot about a second pivot axis and includes a user operated portion. The first lever includes a first sliding surface and the second lever includes a second sliding surface. The first and second sliding surfaces bear in sliding abutment against each other at an abutment point. The first and second pivot axes are substantially parallel to each other, and a first plane extends through the first and second pivot axes. In a non-actuated position of the dispensing mechanism, the user operated portion of the second lever and the abutment point are arranged on a first side of the first plane. The first sliding surface at least at the abutment point, is convex and the abutment point remains on the first side of the first plane over at least a first &#x2154; of a dispensing stroke of the first lever.

An end plug to be inserted axially into the center of an end of a roll of paper, includes a holding element adapted to hold and/or guide the end of the roll of paper in correct position in a dispenser. The end plug includes an outer sleeve having an outer end and an inner end and the holding element is connected to the sleeve by elements allowing the holding element to be axially moved from a first position to a second position, in which the holding element protrude outwardly from the outer end of the sleeve, the holding element being releasably held in the first position when moved thereto. A roll of tissue paper including such an end plug and a dispenser provided with such a roll are also disclosed.

A dispenser for rolls of flexible sheet material, each of the rolls having spindle elements extending axially outwardly beyond the ends thereof, wherein a first roll is located in a dispensing position. Alternatively, a second roll may be located in a reserve position. The dispenser further includes a stub roll position arranged to receive a first roll exhausted to a predetermined extent. Retaining elements are arranged on both sides of the stub roll position to support the spindle elements inserted into each end of a roll, wherein the retaining elements arranged for simultaneous release of the spindle elements when the dispenser is opened.
