A battery terminal clamp is provided for a rechargeable storage battery. The battery terminal clamp includes a body portion made of a conductive material. The body portion has a top planar element and a bottom planar element. The top planar element includes an orifice for accommodating the terminal post of a storage battery, and a tab integrally formed with the body portion. This tab extends upwardly from the top planar element, and serves as a secure attachment point for jumper cables.

Jump tab battery terminal clamp

A battery terminal clamp, comprising a body portion made of a conductive material and having top and bottom planar elements. The battery terminal clamp includes a first pull bar, and also includes a second pull bar positioned below the first pull bar. A threaded element extends through the upper pull bar and the lower pull bar, and facilitates the movement of the upper and lower pull bar towards and away from each other, so as to close and open the clamp.

Pull bar battery terminal clamp

The invention is directed to a one-piece fusible battery clamp, the clamp being for use with the storage battery of a motor vehicle. The one-piece clamp includes a clamp portion and a spaced-apart, bolt-free planar support portion. The planar support portion has a topside and an underside. The topside of the planar support portion is sufficiently large to support at least one first terminal for accommodating a fuse holder, and at least one second terminal. The planar support portion is further configured to permit contact along the majority of its underside portion with an adjacent, corresponding planar support wall.

One-piece fusible battery terminal clamp

A battery terminal connector for a generally cube-shaped automotive battery. The battery has a flat, horizontally disposed top. The battery terminal connector has a body portion with a top, a bottom, and an intermediate aperture for engaging a battery post. This intermediate aperture has a size that is variable to accommodate placement of the connector onto, and the removal of the connector from, the battery post. The battery terminal connector has a lever with two opposite ends, the first end being connected to the terminal connector, and the second end being positioned above the flat horizontally disposed top of the battery. The second end is easily accessible so as to permit a user to actuate that lever, and move that lever from a first position to a second position. Movement from the first to the second position facilitates the removal of overcaps.

Lever lock battery terminal

A battery terminal connector, especially for securement to the battery terminal post of an electrical storage battery. The battery terminal connector includes at least a body portion, a generally circular opening within that body portion for receiving the battery terminal post, and a horizontal bar extending transversely along the body portion. The connector further includes a movable lever for effecting two-way lateral movement of that horizontal bar. Lateral movement of the horizontal bar in one direction effects the opening of the generally circular opening, and lateral movement of the horizontal bar in a second direction effects the closing of the generally circular opening.

Hand lever battery terminal connector

A battery terminal connector having at least one ferrule at one end of the connector; a body portion at the other end of the connector; a generally flat base portion between the ferrule and the body portion; and a removable fuse, having two terminals, and positioned between the ferrule and the body portion. The connector preferably has an insulator positioned adjacent the generally flat base portion, a spindle arising from a generally flat panel upon which the insulator is positioned, and a clamping nut rotatably connectable onto the spindle.

Fused battery terminal connector

A fuse holder () comprising an enclosure for removably containing an electrical fuse (). The fuse holder () includes at least a first () and a second electrically conducting terminal (), preferably made of copper or a copper alloy. Each of the first () and second electrically conducting terminals () is in electrical contact with the fuse () through one or more electrically conducting elements (). The first electrically conductive terminal () is rotatably movable relative to the second electrically conductive terminal (). The enclosure is comprised of a first piece () and a second piece () that is threadably secured to the first piece (). When the first () and second pieces () are secured, they hold the fuse () snugly within the enclosure. The second piece () may include either a polygonal perimeter or a plurality of notches () along the perimeter. In the event that the second piece () has a polygonal perimeter, the electrically conducting terminal () includes at least a first tab () and a second tab () abutting against two of the sides of polygonal perimeter. Where the second piece () has a perimeter having a plurality of notches (), the electrically conducting terminal (a) includes at least one tongue () that is insertable into one of the notches ().

Fuse holder with adjustable terminals

A battery terminal connector having a body portion, and an intermediate aperture for engaging a battery post. The size of the intermediate aperture is variable from a size well in excess of the diameter of the battery post to which it is to be connected, to a size somewhat smaller than the diameter of the battery post to which it is to be connected. A base plate is positioned along a line extending generally from one side surface of the connector to the other side surface of the connector. A threaded rod extends upwardly from the base plate. The connector further includes at least one vertically-movable element, including an upper and a lower wedge-shaped element. A threaded nut is preferably rotatably secured to the threaded rod. The threaded nut is positioned above and abuts against the upper of the two wedge-shaped elements. As the threaded nut is moved downward along the threaded rod, the nut pushes upon that upper wedge-shaped element. In turn, the upper wedge-shaped element forces the lower wedge-shaped element down and in. This inward movement pressures one of the side surfaces on the connector, and as a result the intermediate aperture becomes reduced in size.

Top clamping battery terminal connector

A battery terminal connector having a body portion. The body portion has a front end and a back end, and a first and a second ferrule. The second ferrule is secured to the front end of the body portion, and the first ferrule is connected to the back end of the body portion. The first ferrule is separated from the second ferrule by an angle of between approximately 150-180 degrees. A line passing through the axis of the first ferrule and second ferrule passes through the battery terminal post to which the terminal connector is attached.
